I've been looking for this movie for 7 years lol It was one of my favourite movies when I was a child but somehow I couldn't remember what it was called. But then I was on this website, and someone mentioned it I was like it might be that movie and IT IS. Just imagine what i felt like after looking for 7 years.
I remember watching this in first grade on halloween when me and my best friend at the time had a sleepover after both our families went trick or treating together and to a halloween party. Him and his sisters stayed the night with me and my sister and we got to stay up past 11 watching scary movies and eating popcorn.
Does anyone know where this was filmed? I can't tell if it's an actual town or a set, but the opening scene of the town square looks like the same place they used for filming some scenes for the Jennifer Love Hewitt tv series "Ghost Whisperer".
i have seen this when i was 10 or 11 i think .....do you have other horror movies from the 80's or 70's the things that gave us fright and cant go to sleep without lights on
I have always loved this movie since I was 5 years old and we watched it that Halloween night. It has always been stuck in my head since (26 years ago!) Thanks...where did you get it? Do you have it on VHS?
yws i finally found this movie i was watching fright night 2 when the song midnight hour come on then i remembered this movie praise jebus!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely enjoyed watching this twice on TV. I was young back then, and forgot the title but I searched everywhere based on plot and found the title, and now I found it here on Youtube. Thanks for uploading it. I can now die a happy woman.
YESSSS!!!!! I'm right there with the rest of the comments! I have told my children that it was a Halloween night show that played EVERY year but was stopped years ago! It's not a myth anymore.....I'm glad you took the time....now I can show them. Yeah, it wasn't a familiar title with the folks I asked either.......I'm smiling big, thank you!
Thank you so much! I used to watch this all the time when I was a kid but I haven't seen it in a long time. I was so little when it came out but a lot of it is ingrained in my mind. That part when the kid cuts his finger always freaked me out for some reason lol. I wish I had the tape of this so I could share it with my nieces and nephews.
OMG! I haven't seen this movie probably since 1985 but I never forgot it. It used to come on Lifetime back in the day! Thank you so much for posting!!!
I searched for 2 hours for the name of this film in wikipedia. I watched it back in 1990. I only remembered the romantic-sad ending. Just imagine how I have to go through all of the horror movie lists of the 80's n reading the plot one by one!!! Thank you, you've made my day!!!!! By the way, it's so hard to purchase 80's or 90's movies in Asia!!!

Dude, i remember this movie from when i was younger!! people looked at me like i was crazy too!! I finally actually found it online to download too!! But THANK YOU for uploading it here!! You are awesome!!! ::hugs::
I thought i was the the only one that remembers this. I even thought i was crazy cuz no one else had seen it but me and i was like six years then and almost thirty now
omg i remember the paperboy with that red headed kid who fell in love with the mother n tried killing the bf or killed his dad omg that kid was crazy love to see that movie again
The 80's! cool movie and rare too! Maybe because it wasnt quite finished. I loved working on this film. I even had my own dressing room! Makes me wanna get back into acting. Especially when i see how much people like this. I would have liked it too even if i wasnt the paperboy. Too bad about the ending shot. Me jumping over a gravestone still a monster/zombie. Oh no the nightmares starting all over! part 2? Prolly not! lol. I think jack Bender directs Lost now.
you the paperboy that's so cool. yeah I loved this movie. It was especially crazy because my Grandma live in Somerville,TN which downtown resemble the downtown in this movie.
I bet Somerville is a nice place. That part was filmed at Burbank Studios. The graveyard part at the Disney Ranch.
Surprisingly i remember that. i either spent the money on m.a.s.k. toys or the real Ghostbusters action figures. They let me keep that skull mask by the way. Very good crew on that film. it was like they werent rushing things wich made it more enjoyable and fun! That bicycle was hard as heck to pedal though.
thank you so much for posting this!! i have the vhs copy and i will be making it into dvd. what do you have that you were able to use to post such great quality clips? where the heck is the very end? it's over after part 10, right before the ending.
Well, Amazon sellers love to capitalize on the fact the movie is out a print. So a VHS copy will set you back $70-80 and a DVD copy is as expensive as $150. Don't waste your money. OMG!!!!!!!! Dude, this was an almost halloween with me and my 3 sisters. We would go trick-or-treating and then come home and watch this in costume still, eating our candy. This brings back alot of good memories for me. Thank you.
Thanks! This was out on DVD for a very short time, and then allowed to go out of print, then you could only buy used copies for $100 or something! Ha ha!! I remember Cindy Morgan (Caddyshack, TRON) being very pretty, as usual.
omg you just made this the best halloween ever my dad taped this when i was a kid and watched it everyyear till the vcr eat it. been looking everywhere for this movie and people just looked at me like i was on crack omg i cant tell you how much this means to me thanks one again
