Beautiful song Colin...Right up there beside all the great folkies. I have it in my favs and am listening to everything you've performed on YT Thank you...Ake
You have written an evocative song. I know that because it seems to have evoked something somewhere down in my little heart. Your music... it does the tricksy magics.
You'd think I'd have better things to do than to listen to your sad songs all Sunday morning... getting all weepy. But I don't. So I'll listen... and get weepier still. It's a good thing. Thanks.
So beautiful and soulful,I've always loved this kind of music. You have such an AWSOME sound, wish we had more of that these days.I grew up in a musical family, being born in coal mining town in KY.I was in awe of the English and Irish folk music my Mother and Father taught me as a child.I went through many stages with my music, country and western, folk, rock and roll, and have begun once more to gravitate back to the old English and Irish ballads again.
Hello Cole ... what a lovely song .... your voice is so touchful, with so much feeling ... your song goes straight to my heart ... thank you for that.
hugs to you ...
