Yea it helps for shed. But Boas and Pythons are from the jungle which has really good humidity, so it recreates that they are still in the jungle. But it also helps with skin development and all kinds of stuff, hydration, etc.
Nah anything can give them mites. The guy i got it from had here in a bad environment, dirty and all, so i think she got them there, but shes clear now. And shes about to shed and i'm happy! XD
Yea, He had mites, so now i have news paper in the bottem, But I'm going to get some Branches all through there soon.. I really don't know what songs in the back ground lol.. i didn't think there was.. my Air conditioner was in the back ground?
Nah, It's a 55gal. When i get the money I'm going to build a custom one, because a 55gal isn't really big enough for a 6ft long red tail boa. It will work but it's not ideal.. so I'm just working on getting a tank build. She is around 5 years old. I would start a babyish one off in like a 29 40gal tank, a 40 will last the RTB for a while, until about 4 foot, then 5-6ft you need at least a 55gal tank.
why is humidity good for a boa or any other phyton? is it for better sheding ?
