@paldepind You can mentally photograph a translation dictionary on Japanese, then use that as a base to learn Japanese either with tapes or with a tutor. How do I know? I lived in Japan for 2 years and used mental photography to learn some of the language. This stuff works

According to what you're saying, you would attempt to memorize it consciously. That would be hard, definitely not impossible. How many people can recite over 100 digits of Pi? It's not very hard at all.

This uses the sub conscious / non conscious parts of the brain, which are constantly taking in and recording information. Just by looking at your screen, your brain is taking in the information all around it, for example, things on the wall, things on your desk, etc.
