Is anyone really against this? It is better that the drug money is used in our government than given to cartels? This is one aspect of the US government that really isn't a problem to me!!!!

Well... I don't know about what the government does, but as for the military parts... The military cannot interfere in civilian law enforcement. Sorry, but this includes drugs. We only discovered the negative side effects of drugs relatively recently. I don't think I will accept this as I hear it now, be it my ignorance or urge for further scrutiny. That I leave to your opinion. Be sure to avoid getting into a "Government is evil" cliche.
