janick is the type of guy .that goes into the streets ,in the city ,and visits all the traditional places.he meets.and learns from people.it looks like the type of guy who would open his house door.and invite you to have a drink.and if you had to sleep on his house and there was one bed he would sleep on the floor so you would sleep better.he is the reason maiden is still going on.is the magic man touch..and a great guitarrist.haters shoo

I've been into Maiden since 1989 and had never really taken to Jan, I'd always thought of him as my least favourite member of the band.

I don't think that anymore. He's a good player, a great songwriter, awesome on stage & most important of all seems like a top bloke.

Maiden fans, if he's good enough for the rest of the band he's good enough for you. Janick, we salute you!

I just thought I'd help clear up Janick's ethnicity. He is actually a Scottish- English mix. If you listen closely, you can really hear that it's very close to both accents. Also the name Janick Gers is very Scottish.
