Well, Galaxy S lacks flash and lesser ram. On the other hand, it has a better GPU and SAMOLED screen. So IMO it balances out.

It does almost anything, yes but I have used both and taken photos with both and compared and the HTC Desires takes better pictures in than the Galaxy inside but ib good light, the Galaxy takes better photos. When it comes to flash, it may not be much, but it does indeed make a difference so it's silly to oddly say "it doesn't help to do shit".

It's software related, rather than Hardware. The screen is basically what gives you the image, but the sensors are that which is important :)

Samsung built the touch sensor array into the AMOLED panel itself, fusing the glass to the panel, and clearly it is superior. HTC ought to be ashamed to have released something like this after seeing all those issues with the N1. Inexcusable HTC.

@DarkGoon3r96 I also had a tough choice desiding but this comparison is pretty much useless. The Desire is just as responsive, matter of fact, the Galaxy actually had lag spikes when I was using it. The Galaxy also has no LED flash which isn't a good thing & overall it isnt as customisable & looks too much like an iphone. On the other hand, the screen is beautiful but overall, Desire is faster, has flash, is more customisable & sense UI is fantastic! I chose Desire!

im confused this is a pointless test its been known for quite a while now that the htc desire, legend nexus one ect.... use a sensor that was hacked to support multi touch causing dodgy behaviour since then they no longer use that sensor and performance is the same as the galaxy S.

On the Galaxy S, it badly needs an official lag fix and a decent 2.2 build.Samsung are the fucking worst. Great phone on paper ruined by Samsungs support thus far.

@LFiers i know but my desire is from the 1st batch and it has the motherboard problem were it overheats :( plus flash is available to android devices thru the market. my desire just has loads of problems cos like i said its from the 1st batch... unfortunately i rooted it as i was bored and its voids the warranty. oh well i still love my blackberry lol
