So no matter how good your behaviour is, it is still not enough to get you eternal life because you essentially have to be as perfect as God.

But in Gen 6:8 Noah found grace in His eyes. And Noah lived because he obeyed God.

Homosexuality is a sin just like lying, cheating, lust, theft, pride, rage, gluttony, etc. God does not hate homosexuals. He loves them but He hates their sin...just like He hates straight peoples' sins. Jesus died to save us from all these sins. Homosexuality included. Just wanted to clear this up.

@hildahbaby You haven't disrespected me, I understand and I thought about this myself. The Bible says that we should be ready to answer questions: 1 Peter 3:15, 2 Timothy 4:2. About 2 Timothy 2:23, read the verses right after it, 2 Timothy 2:24-26. See we're supposed to teach others about the scriptures. Matthew 28:20. If we ignore them, then how will they learn? I don't see this as 'foolish', because he is talking about our God. And Jesus answered many questions from the Pharisees.

@wintroller Not sure where you read that because the Bible very clearly says that God hates the sin of homosexuality. Not the sinners themselves. Homosexuality is a sin just like lying, cheating, lust, theft, pride, rage, gluttony, etc. God does not hate homosexuals. He loves them but He hates their sin...just like He hates straight peoples' sins. Jesus died to save us from all these sins. Homosexuality included. Just wanted to clear this up.
