While I don't agree with reparations, you really have not stopped and thought about what slavery meant. It is not just "some people had to work for free". Selective breeding, killing of those who educated themselves, degradation, etc all are passed forward by parenting. That being said, it is a ridiculous notion to think many whites owned slaves. They were a tiny % of the population.

I couldn't agree more with you. There are too many black people who act as if white people have a bill to pay. The white boy that sat next to you in math class didn't ever hit you with a whip. They shouldn't have to apologize for something that didn't happen to you. I bet you that 99.99% of the black people today have never even seen a cotton field before. I know I haven't.
