  • Hello! I have followed directions from EVERYWHERE. i've spent countless hours on this and I still don't know whats going on and whats wrong.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (I am desparte) send step by step insturctions or post them somewhere so I can access them. I would be greatly appeciated, email: megan-1111-believe@hotmail.ca... thank you. (:

  • those are some CLEAN-ass coils bro

  • @akya62 Thank you very much.

  • can someone tell me how to make that?

  • valllhalla , great work, your 2x 21 turns coil break youtube record, I think, its shortest coil yet high speed motor

This is something new, commonly using 250, 500 to 1000 turns, keep up for more vid, Congra...

  • cool, an electric motor! :)

  • where'd you get your copper wire? i'v been looking for some. thanks.

  • I thing you guys have radioschak or something... but you can get it online

  • I use the shaft as connection from the switch to the other side of the coil. Its not the best way to do it but it works.

  • +pole only on one side of the coil. - pole throughout a switch type mechanism...and then to the other side of the coil.. play around until you get the timing right.. I hope this help you out. Thanks

  • building a newman myself, now im stuck not quiet sure how the coil is wired( to the commutator and such) any help would be greatly appreciated

  • the "eficiency" of this experiment Strut effect when the "light" beetween the rotor and the winding housing are close (less than half of 1.-mm is a lot better mounting over rollers)

make one with a bigger wiring wing and u see the power u getfrom that.

    great work, cheers

  • how do u flip the current around each rotation so it keeps moving? can u make video about how ur commutator works in detail

  • The whole point of the Newman motor is the spark generated by the commutator... a natural phenomenon is that every time a new spark is created by the commutator the polarity of the ail coil electro magnet changes.... this keeps the motor moving.

  • oh cool, couldn't quite see the comutator

  • Newman's claim was (I'll paraphrase) that the current generated by field collapse which creates that large spark is energy that was not input from the supply, and this was a >100% efficiency device capable of perpetual motion. Which was proven many times to be a fraud, to the great disappointment of his investors.

Read up on inductors, especially transformers and your get a much better understanding of what is going on here and why it is not 'overunity'/'free energy'/'perpetual motion'

  • Hello mcskifter. I'am not trying to make a overunity motor. Just showing how you can make a simple newman motor.

Energy comes from the univers. Any electrical potentials ever ever made comes from the univers. Every generators we have to day makes electromagnetism. That open up for the energy to be guiden in and down the wire. Comes back to the generator and tries to "kill" it.

I belive in Nicola Tesla and Tom Bearden.

  • @valllhalla Um.... what?

  • Its a strip of copper connected to the shaft.. find out where to set the copper strip.. set it when the rotor is rotating most. goodluck

  • Hi sorry.. they wont send me a new password i forgot it.. :p sined up a new one..

back to your question: i just used a tube that shrinks when heated. Just try to do exactly as in the video.

Hope you understand me.. i'am not so good in english..

    Thanks

  • Hi! I am a biginner in this field and I would like to bild one like yours! What did you use on the other side of the shaft so your negative clip won't stop the rotor? Can you use a ball bearing? Thank you!

  • Like your motor well done. How many turns and size of gage did you use?

Thanks keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for your support! I used 0,60mm with 2 x 21 turns. And superglue it all to gether. I have seen your videos, realy nice work! keep it up!

  • Great clear video. Simplified. Clean. Thank You!

  • Thank's! Glad if my video helped you out

  • Really hope you make more. Keep up the great work!
