There was NEVER a version of this game for the Playstation. The system simply couldn't handle it. In fact, Iguana put in a joke about it. The "Quack Mode" cheat on the original was an emulation of how they thought the game would run on a Playstation, with all of the Nintendo 64-specific abilities turned off.

Hahaha I met one of the developers of this game at a conference. SMART gent. Since 64 was left in the dust and new consoles released, most of these guys develop games on Nintendo DS. Back in the day it was easier to get noticed in game industry but it takes great talent to make games EPIC! Love this soundtrack and the game. So many memories as a youth playing games while sitting on the floor, back against bed, not paying no mind to the responsibilities that lies ahead. Thanks for posting THIS!

I think the New turok should have at least had weapons like the other ones. my favorite was the cyperial bore. make dino's heads blow up. the only thing the new turok has over the older ones is graphics and the knife thing. keep the knife thing change everything else turok guys

I really hate how they took out the "Platforming" and "Collector" aspects out of it which I really feel took away from the whole Turok effect cause the whole time you were searching for items that made your quest alot easier and were mandatory to progress through the game. When the 360/PS3 version made it simply a First Person Shooter I felt it sucked nuts :P

I think they should continue the original story line and make a sequel of Turok 3. Turok 3 is easily one of my favorite games of all time, and the fact that they basically ended the franchise's main plot with such a cliffhanger is a serious bummer.

What the developers of the new Turok game didn't realize was that FPS + dinosaurs =/= Turok. I thought the gameplay was decent, but I absolutely hated the fact that they excluded the awesome weapons of the previous games as well as replacing the original storyline of the previous games with just another "space marine" narrative, which has been done a thousand times before in other shooters.
