  • Hi there. What motor mount did u use and was it a straight fit? Thanks very much.

  • @TAMIYA911 hi i dont use this motor mount anymore (a boat mount) it was to weak and keeped bending, iv made a new one out of 10mm aluminium now but if you wont a direct swap get the motor mount for the XT2E just type xt2e motor mount into google

  • @xgouldiex Thanks very much. R u sure the xt2e motor mount bolts straight on without any drilling to the chassis? Thanks

  • @TAMIYA911 yeah im sure my mate converted his xt2 and he purchased the xt2e mount and it bolts directly in. the xt2e is identical to the xt2 accept the new electronic mounts (motor mount. esc mount . battery trays)

  • It all depends on the motor and also what size batteries u use. just keep an eye on the temepratures, if they get to high the you will need a smaller pinion gear. on this buggy it has a 14tooth pinion the same as the nitro engine but it suits the motor. hope this helps

  • when you go from nitro to brushless, do you need a smaller or a bigger motor pinion? (number of teeth)

  • what motor mount did you use, and where did you get it? I hope to convert my XT2

  • how much did the motor cost

  • @boomhower0 alrite mate, this motor only cost me 20 pond as i got it of a mate. but new there about 45. but if your thinking of getting one of these i would have a look at the XL size of this motor as its only 5 pound more (50) but packs a punch . going to be getting one myself

  • HAY CHECK MY NEW VID IF MY XTM XT2E HAD WINGS IT WOULD FLY!!!!!

  • @brandonsexywhitaker alrite mate parts for this is very easy to find and parts are very cheap. and i got to say that this is the best bashing rc i have ever had. it is actaully really hard to brake parts (and trust me i have had a very good try) the only part i have ever broke on this is a front lower wish bone and that is my thought as i turned one of my other cars into a ramp. this is the missis buggy but i brought myself one now and i always pick this one to take out. very reliable

  • thanks. i actually just went ahead and bought a 4x4 slash.

  • how did you make this car silence! i want do the some

  • @TranceLenos Alrite mate this buggy is so quiet because its brushless not nitro, this is the missis buggy and she got feed up with the smell and sound of nitro so i converted to electric its out of service at the mo as she broke the motor, but soon it will have a bigger motor which should make it able to pull wheelies lol

  • Dont worry just seen all your info up top :)

  • @dawnspiper73 alrite mate just thought id write 2 u anyway, xtm is bringing out a brushless xt2 if u go on google and type in, xtm xt2e, ul be able to find it and u mite be able to find the specs which would come in handy for you. and yh it is faster than a nitro xt2 i have raced against my mates xt2. the motor is getting upgraded to an even bigger motor soon so il be uploaded a new vid of it so keep an eye out!! cheers for the good comment mate! :)

  • @xgouldiex Nice one for the reply and info mate...Much appreciated! Bout time i did something with the buggy cos its been sitting still for far too long :)

  • Nice vid mate! Have an XT2 aswell and killed the engine recently...so thinking of converting to Brushless ;-) That picks up speed so damn quick...looks quicker than nitro! What motor, esc an batts do u use mate??

  • alright mate the motor mount is self fabricated made out of 3mm aluminuim (but would recommend 4mm if motor has alot of torque)

  • wow excellent!!! Where did you find the motor mount??
