r u fucking retarded, i didnt say that they werent "the greatest band to ever grace the planet" or "mimicking somebody else". All I said was that they reminded me of the rhcp, mostly because of the similarity between the basslines and the bass feel. The bass player even uses the same bass as Flea. To me it is clear that this bass player has gotten inspiration from some of fleas baselines. That is not copying or mimicking, simply the natural course of music evolution.

The bassist has more in common with Flea than just bass preference, he plays like Flea, and tries to imitate Flea's appearance. ((He has all the same tattoos)) This is probably because the bassist himself has expressed that Flea was the kind of player he wanted to be, outrageous, crazy, and fun to watch. I personally think that while he still shows similarities to Flea he has been slowly becoming more unique.

Dethklok was meant to be a humorous group, not to be taken too seriously. You have to keep it apples to apples, You can't say Trivium is better than Queen (they were the first bands I thought of that were the most significant in difference).
