There is no real multiplayer in ODST like Halo 3 Matchmaking, all you have is Halo 3: ODST Firefight.

Okay, there will not be any multiplayer besides that.

But the inside scoop and extras from ODST is usable with Halo 3.

YES! there is going to be multiplayer. Halo ODST will come with 2 discs, first one is the main game, the second is going to be the multiplayer with maps from halo 3,maps from odst, and some of those mythic maps too.

No ODST matchmaking. There is the reach demo, and there is firefight, but no matchmaking.

but you still have halo 3 matchmaking and you will get new maps and achievments along with ODST, so making matchmaking a part of ODST will be a little waste.

it's a very good marketing strategy, since nobody would buy a game that big in the summer.
