  • YOU ARE SO AWESOME.

  • I love it a ton, but that "2nd" voice sorta "crowds" the main lyric. but brilliant work!

  • 8-bit songs are good, but this one is awesome !

  • NICE JOB!

  • supermario

  • Character: Robert Smith.

    Superpower: Disintegration.

  • omg, this makes me happy. aahahaa! <3

  • This is my next podcast made me look this up!

  • I could totally see this used in a Kirby game

  • top job

  • Robert Smith would own at any game that he were in

  • robert smith would pwn in any game he were in

  • The Cure goes Zelda.

  • my understanding is that with NES/famicon music you generally have 2 square/pulse waves, a triangle wave, a noise wave and the DPCM channel unless the game cartridge has a sound expansion or something. even if this version isn't authentic it still sounds great so whatever.

  • this wouldn't be out of place in a lucas arts old school point and click job like monkey island or loom or something

  • For some reason, this reminds me of a Lion King game I used to have for Sega Genesis.

  • i started working on a version of this recently, and i was a little bummed when i saw this.

but i'm still gonna finish it.

  • AAAAAAAHHHH!!! frekin' gorgeous...

    is there a downloadable mp3??!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  • wow this sounds so good :)

  • oh man this is EPIC

  • wow this rly works !

  • what's midi files anyway?

  • google search :)

  • @kanetidus Can't be bothered to explain so just google MIDI and go onto Wikipedia

  • may i ask where to get the midi files for this? btw this is amazing!

  • google search :)

  • Awesome! A NES version game where you get to play as Robert , Boris or Simon who be massive lolz!

Who made this? They done a great job, and I could actually see this in a game.

  • I actually made it. Sorta. I found a midi file of the song and put it through a program that makes it sound all 8-bit.

  • Well, you did a great job. I always thought 8 bit sounds were pretty tough to program. Nice one. Really.

  • @DerdleDoo Where? What program is it?

  • @MrJustinMoody google Gashisoft GXSCC and it should be the first thing to show up. It's really easy to use too.

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies

It's not an NES version. The NES only had four channels for sound and this uses way more.

So it's basically just a waste of space.

  • @givebeesachance thanks for explaining! I can tell you what a vagina feels like if you want me to.

  • @DerdleDoo hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

"thanks for explaining! I can tell you what a vagina feels like if you want me to."

    Absolutely brilliant. Well done.

  • @DerdleDoo

Thanks, but if you are going to describe your own vagina I could just stick my dick in tub of cottage cheese.

  • @givebeesachance Actually NES had it's own built in digital logic which had upto 32 channels available at any one time instead of a sound chip which only offered 8 channels. No gaming console has ever had a 4 channel sound chip except maybe a handheld.

  • @ohalistair

NES has 4 channels (plus a DPCM channel), the SMC has 4 channels. You either misunderstood me or don't know wtf you are talking about.

  • @givebeesachance ja, virgen

  • lullaby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    please XD
