@Loudmouf84 Because part three was the biggest piece of junk, with the Secret of the Ooze being a close second, and it's not the studio's fault. It's their aim to please the children the ruined the franchise. Granted, I was a kid when the first three came out, but even at a young age, I was disappointed when parts two and three didn't have the same dark atmosphere as the first.

If they do another live movie, with the intention of pleasing adult fans, I'll be happy.

@ShinkuEX but I will say I still enjoyed 2 & 3 for the simple fact that a Ninja Turtle movie is better than no Ninja Turtle movie. I was a kid for all 3 and enjoyed them all at the time, with part 1 always being my favorite. I went to part 3 at age 9 and left the theater doing cartwheels haha!!

It's just, I truly believe it's time for them to take the turtles back to their roots and go down that darker path like the creators intended.

I thought they did Shredder & the Foot perfect as well, showing all the hardcore youngsters robbing and being down. The 1st film was hood lol. They made it as realistic as they could at the time. I was visiting my friend in west palm beach florida and we happened to check out a big group of people showing off their cars. One of them was Vanilla Ice. I talked with him for a bit and told him how much I loved TMNT and even though the song is cheesy I really can't imagine the movie without it. He laughed and told me some stories about working on film. He actually very nice in person.

In one of the comics, the turtles went to a dimension where they were forced to figh in a martial arts tournament, and they were given outfits for the tournament, and Raphael was the only turtle that kept the outfit throughout some editions of the comics.. Raphaels costume was all black, like a ninja.. thats why he kept it, so he could hide in the shadows..

Raph wears his wrestling costume, a full black body suit. on the pin-up picture he's taken off the face and overall part of the suit. probably due to the warm weather in the issue it was featured in.
