I'm trying to stream a portion of my desktop using "custom desktop" and about a quarter of the screen is showing part of my desktop that's not in the "Custom Desktop" box.
thanks mate, really helpful, switching from manycam to my webcam with the ustream thing fucked up the image but if i left it on manycam in ustream and changed to my webcam in many cam, the image was fine, idk y but ill just do it that way
@tom133991 Very odd. Perhaps try reinstalling manycam, or re-installing ustream producer. If you installed manycam after ustream producer, ustream producer might not know manycam exists. Try a re-install. If that doesn't work, let me know.
@bloodbath156 Its been a month so hopefully you've found a solution. But anyway, gaming is hard to capture because of the high frame rate. I'd go check this guy out: youtube (dot) com /iobuffa - he streams a lot of gaming stuff, he'd know more about it than me. If you go to his website and ask, I'm sure him, or someone in his chatroom, will help you out.
@marko724 I see, well theres no easy way. The only way I can think of is to get a double-ended cable, one that would plug into your computer's headphone jack on one side, and plug into your mic on the other side. That way sound coming out the speakers would go into the computer as a microphone and could be used by ustream.
They aren't too expensive if your really into it. As far as a software solution, I can't think of any.
@marko724 I'm still confused by your question. You should be able to choose any mic on your computer as sound for ustream. If its not working, it must be a problem with your mic or a problem with ustream not recognizing it. And manycam doesn't have any kind of mic support.
It is, but that could change depending on your internet connection and manycam settings. The Ustream Desktop Program is probably better. Check out my video on it.
I don't believe so. Hypercam is a screen recorder, which is very different from Manycam, which broadcasts its content as a stream rather than saving it as a file.
Sorry for the late response, been busy. But yes, recording from a mic is no problem, but recording from your speakers can be difficult, glad you figured it out.
Your welcome. I actually have another video up on a slightly easier way to do this. Its recent. You might wanna check that out, its a bit more professional, but either way, thanks for watching.
couple basic things to check, make sure manycam is running (it should have a play button on its tray icon) and also that you run it before opening the ustream window. Beyond that I need more information in order to help you. P.M. me if you'd like.

FreewareFanatic 1 year ago
@marko724 it should be working, given that your mic is working and you have sound turned on. Are you sure you have sound turned on and not muted?
Or do you mean computer noise, ex. music playing on your computer. Because thats different entirely and can be difficult.
More specific please.

can you broadcast with hypercam??

I don't believe so. Hypercam is a screen recorder, which is very different from Manycam, which broadcasts its content as a stream rather than saving it as a file.

Connect up a double ended audio jack to the audio input and output. Or output and mic.
oniontakersubs2 2 years ago
@oniontakersubs2 Wrong, I figured it out last night. Just use audio mixer!
V1DE0 2 years ago
@V1DE0 it may be a crude, lowest-common-denominator method but I don't see how it's wrong. Especially given that it works -_-"
oniontakersubs2 2 years ago
@oniontakersubs2 lol I was just kidding. And it actually works prety good

Srry for the extremely late response. But I'm not sure what you mean, the play button on manycam? Because ManyCam should start playing automatically
