I found out that it happens because my network doesn't have a 3g service. My jet was always looking for a signal for 3G, so that's why battery died too soo.. You have to switch it to 2G.

Ok, Go to Setting, open Network settings then open Select network (pick manual) Then it will search for networks (pick ur network). when ur done go to network mode and pick either 850/1900 or 900/1800. I think that 850/1900 is better..

This phone is hard to find here in Mexico too so I searched for it at eBay and found some of them for $390 US dollar, they are unlocked. The good thing is I only have to insert my SIM card and it will be ready to work but the bad thing is the 3G wont work only the Wi-Fi, so I have to make a decision before christmas

yaa i thought about it too :O but after buying it i didnt regret it at all cuz its fits ur palms pretty comfortably.And the screen is fab but if u want a bigger screen that looks like this phone go for the samsung omnia 2 which works on windows.plus windows turns to be veryy laggy after a while as i heard ppl saying that ! But im so happy with my jet... its amazing and for sure its going to be my phone for a pretty long time (: x

well the jet as i said has a smaller screen 3.1 than the omnia 2 and omnia 2 is more like a smartphone along with windows so if ur looking for a smartphone and alot in bussiness then u should go for the omnia 2 but for me i have the samsung jet cuz i dont need windows and a gigantic screen so this mobilee is amaazing and plus the omnia 2 is going to be alot expensive but i dunno depends on wat r u looking.

Oh ok,I'm not to bothered by the clicking screen,the new firmware updates also improved this phone alot.I just don't know what else to take that has a touchscreen that offers what Blackberry does(free mail,free internet,free GPS etc.)If you get a HTC or something all the internet browsing and GPS costs alot of extra money....I did find the HTC Touch HD quite good....so I don't know??choosing a phone sucks!

i would say go for the bb then, but i dont like it much cuz everyone has it! and the samsung jet for its price offers such an excellent features with wifi that does not cost alot only if ur using a mobile with no wifi and would cost alot because it would use ur mobile's credit.

If you want to be on 3G, use the iPhone 3GS since it's the best for business. If you want something of like a good call quality phone, better camera, and a full qwerty keyboard then get the new Nokia N97 (It will only work on EDGE since no 3G quadband in the U.S. can support it).

I would recommend the BlackBerry Curve 8900 (It's a great phone for business users and texting, especially emailing). Others I would suggest is the LG EnV Touch or the PalmPre (I don't really like the PalmPre though because of its look...but it's your choice).

There are more properties, which are even more important than CPU's clock rate, like CPU's archtecture.

For example: ARM 9 archtecture 522mhz CPU is as powerful as ARM 11 369mhz processor. ARM 11 800 mhz is only as powerfull as ~500mhz Cortex A8 CPU.

Jet has an ARM 11 CPU at 800mhz clock rate.

Omnia HD has Cortex A8 CPU at 600mhz clock rate. And guess what? Omnia HD still pwns the Jet.

By the way, ARM 11 sucks.
