Seriously. The boy didn't make this himself, so why should he be responsible to tell you all how to fix your problems? OBVIOUSLY, he is on a machine with WINVISTA - so you can't be sure it works with anything else. Other than that, the VMEX.BAT is a *.bat file, if it doesn't work by clicking on it, open it with a text editor and see what it does. In this case, the bat starts the *.jar file vmex.jar. Try doubleclicking the damn jar, noobies.

@abenito206 run hammer and choose your map and then press F9 and go. then you can try out your map and a bsp file will come up in a source sdk folder. if you are vacbanned you have to write -insecure in the empty space before you run it hope it helps :)

Umm, that file is on every source game, so you need a game to make maps. If you have a game (legal) you need to reinstall that game if it doesnt have gameinfo.txt

hey i got it working once but now it doesn't work for me

i had windows 7

what i did was drag the bsp file to both the vmex files then used the jar file

and decompiled the file but it doesn't work for me anymore
