I have both those albums and have been a very longterm Hawkwind fan! I have just discovered that I have an ROC bunker a mile from me! So will he having a look in the near future.

Just been for a look this afternoon. Didn't go down, we knew there'd be water in it, and didn't take wellies or anything, plus not sure whether landowner would get annoyed if we were spotted.
There is still water in it, doesn't look too deep but looks pretty manky.
These were built to last. I built one from scratch for my family with the help of a specialist company called Blueprint Saferooms. Not cheap but not expensive either considering they'll help save your life!
Awrite man found the bunker prity smart but Litle bastards have been down smashed a few things and flooded with water but still prity good condition il have 1 on tube soon
ive got one of these down my road but its wielded up now, apparently. it has also been burnt on the inside for some reason, it has the remainings of a bunkbed and a wooden door leaning against the wall. Also, whats that omnispray down there for, ive seen a pic of the bunker near me and it has a tub of it as well, and it hasn't been burnt, weird
Ive visited that bunker before (i only live 4 miles away). Went down the ladder and was greeted with a foot of water in the actual room , lol. Very impressive bunker and this video is excellant
it endlessly piss me off when they get vandalised (respect history, people!!). Lucky this one was not. It seems the "Shadowgraph" was not present however, unless I missed it. Did not all such places have them? As for the ones sealed, I have one word: jackhammer...
...good man, too many have been ruined by people who don't care about their history, we're on a mission to find another local one thats lost in more gorse bushes (again) ...but sadly Lothian is a bit too far north for me, maybe one day!
I know where another of these underground bunkers is in East Lothian and when I went down inside quite a few year ago, there were several old metal beds, jerry cans of water and boxes of Mars Bars amongst other items down there!

@coastkid71 you should use the pump in it to get rid of the water, usually the pumps still work.

everything in there is from the 80s,maybe eary 90s,monitering equipment and coms and the wall charts are missing,no vandalism done or flooding,
