i dealt with axilary hyperhydrosis for almost 8 years before i decided to go get help for it. they prescribed hypercare and it works. i still deal with it in high anxiety situations but for the most part this stuff is awesome.
Oh and I've tried Odorex deo dry to stop the sweating. It helped me a little but half of the time I put it on it wouldn't. And it really irritated my skin and was painfull. I also went to my doctor but the only thing he said was that I could go to the hospital and they would put botox in my armpits to stop the sweating. But it costs $700.... I'm kinda lost on the other options I have to stop sweating..

@AwesomeeAlexssa Yes anxiety stinks but the cool thing is that these methods work no matter why you are sweating. Like for example, the prescription deo. puts a barrier on the top of your skin so sweat can not come out.
I use a natural deodorant by Mama Nature called ProSkin Athlete and it stops me from smelling. It doesn't stop you from sweating but that's what anti-perspirants are for. I combine both and they work well for me. Even after using my Rightguard if I still sweat the ProSkin stops me from smelling better than just the Rightguard on it's own.

Use it consistently and then if that does not work next time you have a cold or something and go to the doctor just mention to them how severe it is. And remember everybody sweat to some degree its just some more than others. I mean I was embarrassed at first putting this video up and look how many people obviously have the same problem 22,787. I ordered a product from England called Odaban which worked wonders u guys can check it out. It comes in a pump spray bottle and you also use it at night.

Does anyone take Focalin? We have found it to be the cause of our EXTREME sweating. Considered surgery but realized the onset of the excessive underarm sweating started when we started the meds.
I have a similar product now .. for the first time, it was really good, I had no stains for weeks. But now, after 2 yrs, it's not working well and also, it really hurts at night, I have my skin completelly burned and red .. it really burns :( I don't know why ..
@Dantule I agree I would try not shaving as gross as that is nowhere near the time you apply it. Also be sure you are ONLY putting the deo. right on where your hair grows. I found if i step outside that at all it leaves me with a rash.

i have the same exact problem , i went to the doctors an they gave me the same thing "hybercare" but i dosent work for me at all . so i just wear a JACKET all day an i honestly hate it -__- but im going back on Wednesday

@sweetpimpin23 Its all good. Yeah its not good for your hair to wash it everyday because your stripping it too often of your natural oils so I just shower every other day unless I get dirty or something or Im out sweating. LOL
I used certain dri after I watched this and it REALLY works after a few days... but you have to use it every night. only about two strokes on each pit every night and your good... im serious. its cheap and it works!!!

Like CTOMIA i just about never sweat at home, but as soon as I get dressed for school it switches on. It's extremely embarassing and more annoying than anything. I used Certain Dri a while back and still have it, it didn't seem to work but like you I'm not very consistent so I'm giving it another try. I've decided to talk to my doctor about it. @Rosslynite101 You are so welcome. I think that the reason we don't sweat at home is because our sweating is induced by anxious. Even though it feels like we might not be too anxious to go to school I think our bodies may feel different. Yes talk to your doctor he can help.

@CTOMIA Im sorry that you have to deal with this as well. I know with going to school it makes it worse. Just don't accept this. Do something to help yourself feel better. First step is trying the certain dri. Then go to the next step if that doesnt work and just don't give up.
@CTOMIA it's cus ur thinking about it. which causes stress and anxiety. If you relax and calm down and no think about it. it should calm down ur nerves and should cause less stress to come to you.

I don't think you should use this product because its not a natural way to cure sweating all this does it clog up the pores it doesn't cure sweating permanently.

@complextheorems No it does not sound cheesy at all trust me I know how you feel. But one thing about it is all the years I had a sweating problem and not even my parents noticed because really it's most noticeable to you. Of course if you lifted your arms a hole lot but I mean most of the time your arms are down and nobody notices so don't be embarrassed. Ask your mom to let you try the certain dri out (you can get it at walmart) and don't forget to use it exactly like the directions say.
This is't healthy. Sweating is natural. If you stop up your sweat glands you could get cancer of the lymph nodes, or breasts. For special occasions I can see this, but not on a regular basis. Even anti-perspirants aren't healthy because they cause a blockage of the sweat glands.
@kajia9 For people like myself and many others certain dri does help if used properly as do things that the dermatologist prescribe if used properly. If they are irritating your armpits you are either using too much, or shaving to close to the time that you put this on, or using it too frequently.
@Canyoudance123 None, it's supposed to shrink your pores. I used it once and it worked very well but I lost it XD but at least I used it on the "worst" day of the summer.
You are so sweet! I've tried so many things, but nothing works. The thing is, it's not like sweat, it's almost like water! I wear deodorant and I'm cleanly shaven, and everything. Hey I heard that it could produce compensatory sweating, when your body cant sweat from your arm pits so you begin to sweat excessively in other places like your face, did that happen to you? is it true?
Avoid:spicy foods,caffeine,alcohol, cigs, & high frotuse corn syrup. *Sage is supposed to be a natural remedy. also try a herb called St. Johns Wart it supports good mood which helps & is cheap. I found some w/ the vitamins for under $3. & since sweating is controlled by the nervous system, if u see a vitamin that says "supports nervous system" i would suggest it. thats all i can think of. im only 18 & this is all from research & every1 is different so no promises. good luck;)

@loptylop I typed is certain dri available in Canada and it said it was sold at Canada drug. I don't know if you know what that is? Here in the US it is found at walmart, rite aid, cvs, any drug store. I started using certain dri when I was 13 so I don't see any reason why it would matter your age. I use to sit in class and be so embarrased because I had like sweat rings and nobody else did. This really helped. But beware you have to follow the directions. Apply it the second before bed.

OMG thank you !!! I have the exact same problem as you. It started when I had anxiety in middle school. Now even when Im not anxious like walking to school or something, I still get sweaty. But when im at home, im dry.

@lovelyafroqueen Yes I believe that anxiety is for sure the cause of our sweating BUT it can be treated with these prescription/special drugstore deodorants.

I used certain dri after I watched this and it REALLY works after a few days... but you have to use it every night. only about two strokes on each pit every night and your good... im serious. its cheap and it works!!!

Thanks alot. I'm a 15 year old girl and I also have this problem, it started about a year and a half ago and it's ruined my life. Like CTOMIA i just about never sweat at home, but as soon as I get dressed for school it switches on. It's extremely embarassing and more annoying than anything. I used Certain Dri a while back and still have it, it didn't seem to work but like you I'm not very consistent so I'm giving it another try. I've decided to talk to my doctor about it. I hope it stops. Thanks

@Rosslynite101 You are so welcome. I think that the reason we don't sweat at home is because our sweating is induced by anxious. Even though it feels like we might not be too anxious to go to school I think our bodies may feel different. Yes talk to your doctor he can help.

Thank you girl..its really is embarrassing..I just noticed I had this problem..Im a senior in school now & I would look at other kids at my school & notice they didnt have pit stains so why do I??...I sweat so bad sometimes sweat trinkles down from my armpit to my elbow...AND JUST like you said...I never really sweat at home like ever! but as soon as I put my clothes on & head out the door for school it starts SO FUCKING ANNOYING its ruining my clothes :( I also have to be careful of what I wear

@CTOMIA Im sorry that you have to deal with this as well. I know with going to school it makes it worse. Just don't accept this. Do something to help yourself feel better. First step is trying the certain dri. Then go to the next step if that doesnt work and just don't give up.

I don't think you should use this product because its not a natural way to cure sweating all this does it clog up the pores it doesn't cure sweating permanently.

Thank you so, so much. I'm 13 and I have this problem, and it's embarassing, almost shameful. My friends never sweat. They always lift their arms and do whatever and I always have my arms glued to my sides. My mom has told me to only wear light and dark because of the size of the stains. It has become ridiculous, and now that I see you have the same problem, it gives me hope to keep looking. That sounds really cheesy, but it's true. I've tried almost everything. Thanks so much, this helps a lot!

@complextheorems No it does not sound cheesy at all trust me I know how you feel. But one thing about it is all the years I had a sweating problem and not even my parents noticed because really it's most noticeable to you. Of course if you lifted your arms a hole lot but I mean most of the time your arms are down and nobody notices so don't be embarrassed. Ask your mom to let you try the certain dri out (you can get it at walmart) and don't forget to use it exactly like the directions say.

This is't healthy. Sweating is natural. If you stop up your sweat glands you could get cancer of the lymph nodes, or breasts. For special occasions I can see this, but not on a regular basis. Even anti-perspirants aren't healthy because they cause a blockage of the sweat glands.

@kajia9 For people like myself and many others certain dri does help if used properly as do things that the dermatologist prescribe if used properly. If they are irritating your armpits you are either using too much, or shaving to close to the time that you put this on, or using it too frequently.

Avoid:spicy foods,caffeine,alcohol, cigs, & high frotuse corn syrup. *Sage is supposed to be a natural remedy. also try a herb called St. Johns Wart it supports good mood which helps & is cheap. I found some w/ the vitamins for under $3. & since sweating is controlled by the nervous system, if u see a vitamin that says "supports nervous system" i would suggest it. thats all i can think of. im only 18 & this is all from research & every1 is different so no promises. good luck;)

I have a exsesive sweating problem and i get really imbarresed by my friends and its like im the only girl i really kno of that sweats like i mean my best friiend can lift her arms and theres no sweat rings and i want to beable to do that with out having sweat rings and being imbarrassed and i have tried so many D.O's and the really exspencive persciption 1s work.. for a while and then i sweat it off i guess and i just dont know what to do any more and when i aply alot of D.O its not as bad idk

@loptylop I typed is certain dri available in Canada and it said it was sold at Canada drug. I don't know if you know what that is? Here in the US it is found at walmart, rite aid, cvs, any drug store. I started using certain dri when I was 13 so I don't see any reason why it would matter your age. I use to sit in class and be so embarrased because I had like sweat rings and nobody else did. This really helped. But beware you have to follow the directions. Apply it the second before bed.
