Everything that made Youtube successful must not have made it to the executive leadership meetings, this is exactly the kind of decision making that looses viewers, instead of trying to keep up with facebook and twitter and similar privacy invading garbage...youtube has elected to follow the crowd instead of being the unique aspect of posting videos and other entertaning content. The new design looks like a want ad, it will take away the personality of the channels...

I didn't watch your video, it looked a bit silly but maybe it is good, whatever. Don't like the design cause the grey background is too dark and the text is too small. The rendering is really blurry for me too. I prefer the old one cause there was less crap

I'm not liking this. On the homepage, I don't see new uploads from the channels I've subscribed to but all I see is what my friends liked, favorited and recommended videos. I happen to miss videos from @wilsontech1 and have to manually navigate to check for new uploads. What's going on with YouTube lately?

I'd like YouTube to fix video comments. They seem pretty broken - at the moment I see something like "@example lol that was awesome" and have no way of reading the conversation thread or displaying it in context (think of how e.g. reddit does it). Clicking usernames just takes me to their respective channels or a "comment search" which always seems to be blank. I WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT EXAMPLE FOUND AWESOME, DAMNIT!

I like change. I like the design of the new layout. But I hate the fact that it displays EVERYTHING your subscriptions do. I don't care if someone I'm subscribed to 'liked' something. I'm using another beta look and it is also official. The background is grey also but around the video there is a black line so the contrast is even better than having just a grey background. It also has some more features like some new seize change buttons and the playlists looks different and ..so on. But it seems that you have some other stuff that I don't, which is interesting for me. I've been making a couple of feedback already but they didn't really changed what I asked.BTW love your show!

Absolutely hate the new update. I do like the look, and I prefer the gray background over the white one, but the interface is terrible, at least on the front page. I no longer have the option to just view uploads by subscribers; now I have to sort through what they've subscribed to, what they've favorited and whatever Youtube wants me to see.
