i live in maine and those pics were of cadillac mountian. I work on the island, (bar harbor, southwest harbor, northeast harbor) every day. In the summer traffic is insane. Just on the strip in Bar Harbor there are 10,000 people every 4th of july.

Yea, ditto. Maine is the most stunningly beautiful place I have ever been. I grew up in the South, and have been to Maine 4 times and every second there is wonderful. If you get a chance, see Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset, Freeport, the Saco river over in Standish (I think), Portland, and pretty much the whole damn state!
