  • Nice looking crappie! I went LM bass fishing last Saturday and accidently took a 12" black crappie on a 8' diving sexy shad crank bait with huge trebble hooks on it. I have no idea how that fish got its mouth hooked on my lure. Man, did it taste great, though!

  • Man I hate that sound.. Tight up your reel!!

  • Spring's turkey time! :D

  • @Jeffdunham186

Soon as I finish catching crappie I'll be heading out there to bag a gobbler.

  • nice fish looked like a nice fishing trip!

  • where do u get all dez girls?? ;)

  • Great video Joe. A few questions: Describe your setup for us. line, bobber, depth, bait/jig? Have you ever used Berkleys crappie nibblets, any comments on them?

    Thanks for sharing with us!

  • dear joe, i love all of ur videos fishing for panfish and largemouth. However i would love to catch my own monster oanfish in ohio so i have to questions.

    1. where do u go to catch crappie that is in a 30-40 minute range of columbus or upper arlington.

    2. once u get to that spot, what would you look for to know where the crappie are. Thanks again joe and i love all of ur videos. Keep'em comin.

  • @coleofishing

    1.Griggs Reservoir in Upper Arlington

    2. Check out my Freshman Crappie fishing video for spots. Look to see what types of cover and spots I catch fish from. It doesn't vary much.

    3. Call R&R and ask for the latest report. The number is listed in the video

  • @Fishnwithjoe thanks for the reply i will defedntly try griggs. i only live about 2 blocks away. haha. are they safe to eat out of griggs.

  • Where were you at in this video? What body of water I should say?

  • What a crappie video LOL Nice JOE!

  • dont understand why people like crappie fishing they are small and dont really put up a fight due to thier size can someone please tell me why you guys love it so much

  • Great video Joe! Go get em brother... ;) Gotta love Spring Crappie Fishin'

  • How deep did you have your slip set for those fish, Joe? Unfortunately, a little distraction called work (and unpredictable winds and weather) has prevented me from doing any serious crappie fishing so far but glad you got on those nice fish.

  • Darth Vader is breathing hard.........but its not that girl........its just Crappie......how cheap

  • Anfänger!

  • hey joe do u no any nice lakes or ponds n columbus where the crappie are hittin

  • I've never noticed til now, but your camera man has some really shaky hands. haha. Regardless, you make some awesome videos. Keep'em coming.

  • i've watched so many of your crappie fishing videos and they never get old. would love to get into some crappie myself! keep up the good work!

  • @FishingThePNW

I really appreciate the kind comments. Jimmy Myers, all the camera people and I do our best to put together

    good shows. Thanks again.

  • Caught my first fish of the year the other day a small fat pike that hammered a 4'' rubber minow

  • Thanks for the vid Joe but good lord I dont see how you can pass up those beautiful fillet's, your a better man than I . We love you Joe keep em coming !!!!

  • @streenbeen

I pass up on the fillets for my viewers. If they can have the chance to catch these fish too

then I feel like I've accomplished something great. Believe it or not the fishing is pretty

difficult in the area where I'm from. God just blesses me with some great days on the water.

You know, you could be watching any fishing show in the world but, wow you watched mine. I really, really appreciate the view and the kind comment. Thank you

    Fishnwithjoe

  • have u evr used tube jigs? if so, how good are they? because we cant use live minnows here in washington, how about plastic minnows?

  • I saw your mom cooking them up.... throwing the back is almost a sin! LOL

  • nice fish Joe!

  • You should try crappie fishing with a cane pole sometime. Its a mess of fun

  • Man i enjoy ur fishing show soooo much, Da Mississippi River is high in the miss. Delta the oxbow lakes are too high kinda messing up fishing, big ups 2 ya Bruh...

  • @Thechill12

Hopefully the water will go down soon. When it does the big ones will be one the bite.

    Thanks for watching the show.

  • Love the vid! Great job!

  • how deep do you have your slip bobber set for?? and thanx again for the post. gotta love it!

  • i love the way you fish over there joe..love that float to you could see that a mile back.. great

  • @bloodynuts2

I like to use the bright colored floats because they show up a lot better for the camera. When one is fishing

for a show sometimes they have to think about how things are going to look on film and not just what the fish will bite. Thanks for watching.

  • well joe, another bad ass fishen trip, sure wish i was there slayen them with you, iv seen you use live bait for crappie alot but how good are you at jiggen for them - not doggen ya just curious and do ever keep some for the freezer ?

  • Joe, U da man!!

  • @adultzfun

Thanks very much. I'm glad you enjoy the shows.

  • Hey joe TIGHTEN YOUR DAMN DRAG! Its annoying!!!

  • Joe knew i was waiting for these videos. Time to watch...Yeah buddy!

  • @jurassicsushi

I knew you were waiting. I had a little trouble with the new editing

system I've been working with or else it would have been out sooner. Hope you enjoy and thank you

very much for watching the shows.

  • @Fishnwithjoe Joe' For the life of me I can't find those Slip bobbers you use. Can you show me or in the next vid exactly how you set up your rig when fishing for crappie. I think i might have found a new spot near my house to try and catch them and I want all the tips i can muster together. Remember I am fishing from the shore...lol. Oh yeah and if possible ask the owner of R & R Bait and tackle if they would be willing to ship to Georgia. Thanks and Awesome Video as expected.

  • @jurassicsushi

Give R&R a call and ask. They know exactly which ones I use. In part two I catch even more crappie. I'll go over the rig I'm using then.
