@donlonm Pussified? Listen to some of the slow songs on gish and siamese dream like luna, daydream, soma. He still wrote slow songs back then. And he still writes gothic grungy songs now. Tarantula, doomsday clock. I'm just not sure what you mean. He's always been diverse. Every album has it's soft and hard songs.

Right now it seems he doesn't want a Keyboard player after all. Now he has a more complete line-up in place, with Mike (the new Drummer) and Nicole Fiorentino (the new bassist), he's said he is really enjoying just playing as a 4-piece. He feels that bringing in a new keyboardist at this point is unnecessary because he'd be making stuff up just to give them something to do, rather than the music needing it. I'd like to see Lisa stay with the band though. She was cool.

Gotta love Billy Corgan. Fantastic songs like this disappear onto EPs no one buys then rubbish like Widow Wake my Mind gets released as part of a supposed new 'album'. Never have I known of any songwriter who buried so many great songs.

Ya, he should have just turned American Gothic into an album, he's still got a bunch of acousticy songs sitting around like Owata and Communion. Well maybe not since no one would buy it since everyone got turned off by Zeitgiest.... Either way I agree, this song should have been put out there.

they're not quite eligible for it yet. I think 2011? Haven't met the year requirement.

If I'm right, it's something like 25 years after the release of a band's first album, they become eligible. So, from 2016, they can be nominated for induction.

It would be kinda cool if for one night Billy could at least bring back Jimmy and James, to mark the band's induction.
