  • Cleans were awesome, gains could be better but are nice.

  • what song or chords are the one that you play at the beginning?

  • 3 persons dont know how to listen to music

  • I wonder if this amp will sounds that good with my dean vendetta v1 .

  • I have a line 6 amp, but I also have a digitech rp90 pedal. I want to get the vox amp so I can use my pedal would it sound like shit?

  • Hi heistplan, I will change my squier strato and crate amp for a epiphone les paul standard and this amp.

What do you think about the VOX 15r? Is it good?

  • haha walk idiot walk...nice

  • Nice Schecter, my preferred brand!

  • these are the best value in small amps out there, imo, maybe the best value in all amps for that matter.

  • Can it do good bluesy rock?

  • I have this amp and i have guitar encore e99.

Amp is good but guitar is crap, sound is bad.

    Sorry for my english.

  • Hi , Are those stock pick-ups in the Schecter. Love the sound by the way. Thanks

  • Hi , Are those stock pick-ups in the Schecter. Love the sound by the way. Thanks

  • I have one of this. A great anp. One question: is it my idea or the clean channel semms to more quiet than the solo channel?

  • @JCReaP There is only one channel in the amp. The "boost" switch merely kicks in some extra gain, but it also changes the whole character of the amp.

  • Distorted tones will always sound comparatively louder than clean tones because they're more compressed. Basically, to a speaker or instrument, sound is instantaneous, based on peaks. To our ears, it's based over a series of time. So it's not just "How loud it gets" but how long it sustains that loudness over a tiny but significant period of time.

  • is the speaker in side celestion????

  • no vox bulldog, made by wharfdale

  • does it takes pedals well?

  • amazing clean tone!

  • question: can you hook up the 15watt pathfinder to a guitar cabinet so have band practice or play small bar shows?

  • Yes.

  • does this +plays louder than drums?

  • i got a voz pathfinder 15 too

    and i think is awesome

but i have to ask something

can sound at the same level than a drum?

  • This makes for a great practice amp.

  • what kind of guitar is that?????

  • Schecter PT I believe.

  • Nice clean tone man!

  • how do you tune a gtr hero guitar

  • man what amp you think is better in general, this Vox or a Marhsall MG15CDR?

  • vox. period

  • explain why

  • awesome cleans, pedal friendly, and also, nice grill cloth exterior. lol.

  • @kokoXcrunch Orange seems pretty good too, but I've never owned one so I can't say how they are outside the music store.

  • THIS

Yagamii is most likely a 12 year old whos only experience with amps is gutar hero.

Get a pathfinder, some of the best Solid State cleans I've ever heard

  • my pathfinder 15 doesnt get the clean setting......... only gain and overdrive and they sound horrible...... also the treble doesnt seem to work.... if you know what to do please pm me thanks alot.

  • try not cranking the Gain but uping the Main Volume and occaitonally raiseing the gain and DO NOT engage the Boost.

Although the "straight up" setting(Putting EACH knob at 12 o'Clock) on either Boosted or not is GAWGIOUS

  • lawl fuck off... fucking see you in every vid..

  • should i get a the crate v series 5 tube amp or this

  • this is a nice amp especially if you like to play clean i bought it but the thing is i play matal and shit like that so it isnt that great unless you use pedals

  • my buddy plays a mesa dual rect in his band but brought this over for practice, and holy crap, it sounds amazing!!! for what your paying it's a great deal!!!!

  • Godd AC/DC tune brother!!!!

I just bought the amp yesterday... UPS is gonna bring it to me, and I am very anxious. I bought it because my main amp is too big, and I can't use it in this neighborhood.... they're gonna kill me and I want to respect everybody. So I purchased this one... nice thing dough. Have you tried to record using the record output? If you did, please could you tell me the results? Thanks!

  • Sounds great, I can't decide whether to go for this or the valvetronix.

  • go with the pathfinder and throw out the 8" speaker for a 10"

  • More interested in the PT Fastback. Quality? Genre Range?

  • Well, this kicks Worldmusicsupply's ass.

  • got this amp a few days ago and its fucking sweet. if anyone is thinking of getting it, well, just fucking order it man. if anyone has any questions lemme know.

  • Is a Line 6 Spider III amp better than this, or does this VOX own the shit out of Spider III?

  • if you want metal, go with the line 6. i actually own both now, havent touched the line 6 in days, nor do i want to lol. i used to play alot of punk shit, so the line 6 was perfect, but i'm getting more into classic rock, so the vox fits that better. what kinda tone are you trying to get? what bands you into?

  • Oh so I should get Line 6 then, since I love Metal and Punk Rock. Like Behemoth, Metallica, Chimaira, Annihilator, and for punk rock, Blink 182, +44, Sum 41 and shit. =D Wow you play classical. Do you know a classical songs thats easy to play along with the solo? I'm a 5month-er guitarist and I simply can't find a goddamn classical song thats easy for me.

  • The Line 6 have quite worse sound quality, and if you put in a effekt shit it sounds like.. shit xD So o would stick to the VOX ;)

  • LINE 6 IS HOMOO

  • is it loud enough for band practice

  • If your drummer has a sense of dynamics and your bass player doesn't insist on diming a pair of SVT's this amp can stay pretty clean while pretty loud. When you crank it it's not a bedroom or apartment amp-you can still bug people!!!

  • what song is from 2.22

  • How would those amp make out for like a really clean, rockabillyish, twangy sounding tone?

Like Carl Perkins, or early George Harrison guitar style stuff? Any idea?

  • Well you have to have the treble all the way up, with no bass

You can also add some reverb, which is what George did in some songs like 'I Saw Her Standing There' and many of the Beatles early stuff.

    Hope that helps

  • is this loud enough for band practice

  • is this amp any good for playing heavy metal?

  • no its better a marshall if you play heavy metal

  • it is it has a marshal in it

  • just buy a marshall or a vox valvetronix. but marshall is better for heavy metal

  • The Marshalls in that price range suck. I would suggest getting a B-52 combo. Its only $360 and its 60 watts all tube!!! Sounds great too.

  • yeah but i think his budget isn't that high, couse then he wouldn't be looking at this kind of amps.

    just a suggestion ^^

  • when the distortion kicks in, is that the amp, or a pedal? i need to know cos i cannot get a decent dirty tone out of this baby

  • The distortion is all from the amp. I just swtiched from my neck pickup to the bridge pickup. The dirty tone of the amp is not the best for sure. But thats what pedals are for ;)

  • @heistplan that tone of the amp rocks

this amp isnt made to give you distorsion buy pedals.

  • the hives!!!!!!!!!

  • i'm buying this amp. even though i've noticed people complaining about the distortion, i think it would be perfect for a Fender Jaguar, since they generally sound a bit too thin.

  • How's the clean channel using external drive/distortion pedals? does it sounds good?

  • the distortion is good if you dont crank the bass and turn gain up with boost on!

  • nice playing! I'm thinking about getting this amp for practicing at school and I was wondering does the distortion sound better with a strat?

  • The distortion in pretty terrible in general with this amp in general...though it does sound a teensy bit better with single coils (ive used it with a split humbucker).

    Thanks for watching!

  • K thanks because ive seen some other videos and the distortion didnt sound to bad... weird.

  • You can buy a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal online at musicians friend for only 30 dollars... A decent pedal, at a great price.

  • haha ive had a ds1 for like 2 years... it doesnt have a spot on my pedalboard anymore though cause its to trebley and grainy for me

  • @heistplan NO THE BOOST IS GREAT WITH MY LTD GUITARR

WHY DO YOU SOU IT'S BAD I DON'T USE IT ANYWAYS CAUSE I USE PEDALS BUY WHY?

  • Comment removed

  • distortion doesnt sound very good....

  • Haha yeah it doesnt for sure! Thats probably one of the main downfalls of this amp. But a good Overdrive pedal will take care of that! Thanks for watching!

  • no prob... and u got nice Sqier Telecaster!

  • It's actually a Schecter PT fastback...you dont really see too many of them around lol! Thanks again!

  • Thanks for video, I wanna buy exactly that same amp but I got one question, how this vox work with external stompboxes ?

Sorry for my english, I'm from poland

  • I got to try it with my cousin's EXH Big Muff and it sounds pretty good! I havent really tried it with other stompboxes but I hear it works really well with other stompboxes!

I hope you enjoy the amp as much as I do and thanks for watching! Cheers.
