He destroys a butterfly and takes satisfaction/release in it. The immediate environment reacts (by that I mean people included) to weed out the local disruptive force. Video seems to be inline with the album title, except that normal genetic behavior is contrasted with a strong metropolitan essence.

The video is about symbolism and art, not reality.

He thinks about subways and cities and what the real society is defined by. When he begins to think this, the little girl poisons the guy because he is not like them. The moral of the song is be yourself, dont let anybody rule you.
