  • they are all damn cute

  • This song is so beautiful. I cant help but to cry every time I hear it! You feel like you're in heaven!

  • Oliver -- where are you. Where is this music hiding in the world of RAP, Hip Hop, and screaming vocalists. this is real beauty, joined with love and compassion. Sorry, don't want to insuly the rest of the world. But you will come to love this!

  • Matthew 21:16

They said to him, "Do you hear what these children are saying?" Jesus replied, "Yes, I do. Have you never read, 'From the mouths of little children and infants, you have created praise"

  • OMG...... wow

  • it really touches my soul....Divine voice....

  • Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing.

  • In response to KewlGawd, the practice of castration to preserve the natural childhood male soprano or mezzosoprano voice was outlawed in 1861. The last true surgical castrato (Alessandro Moreschi) died in 1922. In reality, all of these boys with angelic voices with go through puberty (unless there is an underlying endocrinological problem) and their voices will change. Sometimes they will develop equally beautiful adult voices, sometimes not.

  • @RomaLevy You are so right, I sang with St Georges, Windsor for 5 years, but now, my voice is not good. At least I retained my hearing so I know it's not good!

  • children being dedicated as monks

  • @KewlGawd You are full of sheeyit!

  • Wonderful angelic voice; makes me very happy and gives new hop in this world.

    Kind Greetings from Germany

  • amazing! Jean-Baptiste Maunier sang it as amazing as he! ! WOW! like angels!

  • So Lovely...Thank You..

  • I love this song so much. I'm always tempted to sing, but my voice doesn't work that way XD Best to leave it to the professionals.

  • Angeli

  • who is the boy next to daren @ 1:53?

  • @Forward523 adolf hitler

  • @Forward523 Joe Momma

  • This is a beautifull song done by beautifull voices. I have no idea how Mr. Prizeman does it but PLEASE don't stop. Songs like this sung by young boys with such pure voices can and do bring such a calm and peace to those of us dealing with personal problems and at times it may be the only reason we get thru the day. God bless you Robert and all of the boys that make up your choir both past and present.

  • incredible, angelic and gods gift

  • Beautiful!

  • To stealdream,

I say this I am 53 and married and have children and I still cry openly when there is music so pure .I too am caring and loving and this is my strength. You are a man a gentle and special man,and many women find your gentle nature very appealling.

    Yes Peace,Loveand Light to all.

  • I really miss being in the choir.

  • I Wish I Could Hit Those High Pitch Notes. :|

  • you are an angel , i love youre voice

  • So beautiful voices of angels!!

  • WOW QUE VOCES !!!!!!

  • @milesaluvin come on. lets not let a minority give everyone a bad label.

  • @milesaluvin

Somewhat doubtful. Oliver will be in his 30's by now; I wouldn't project your own sad fantasy and sick desires on to other people if I was you.

  • there is no such thing as peace and a real love in this world, only in Jesus, we can find true Love and peace, because He is love :)

    Pie Jesu = Merciful Jesus.

  • stealdream, I know that those of us who feel this way are fortunate that we have such fine tuned sensitivity. Please watch--Norske Talente 2009-Episode 4-Eirik 13-HQ----I think you'll shed a few more tears.

  • @george85able Indeed I did... Thank you.

    In Lak'ech

  • God gave them beautiful present - wonderful voice.

  • i love this motet! this boy is a gift to his church.

  • wow i got goosebumps!!

  • goosebumps nice voice loved it ... peace

  • Jean Baptiste in the choristes is better =) sorry..

  • Music to soothe the savage beast in us all :-)

  • Une merveilleuse pureté portée par des enfants dans ce temple lumineux, merci à la vie de me permettre de vivre cela.

  • Sin duda la mejor versión que he visto y oído

  • ethereal...

  • made me cry two and im 51 gr8 stuff

  • i dont get it but i like it when kids sing this song

  • @kanariad2 it's a song for the dead, which is why it's a requiem, from latin it translates the following:

Kind/gentle Jesus, grant them eternal rest, grant them everlasting rest,

the second part where they replace Pie Jesu with Agnus dei translates to "lamb of God"

  • @priest008 , It's actually Gentle Jesus who takes away the sins of the world. And Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

  • This is absolutely beautiful, and makes me cry every time I hear it!

  • this kinda music just purify man's sinful heart...

  • this is stunning! Awesome!

    just cry! Awesome

    sorry

  • Well Im 30 and I still love this song, and it still makes me cry most of the time. I say that if you dont feel any thing when you hear this then you have no soul. This is music and passion at its best.

  • @niko9818 haha glad to know it effects people of all ages i might be 14 but i feel so inspired by this :D makes me cry :D in a good way

  • What a lovely young guy.

  • Im 20. I find it so amazing that this beautiful music can still make me cry. I cried when i listened to this type of music when i was 12. I think I still, and will always have the child in me that will love and adore things like a kid does in childhood.

I have always been very sensitive in nature...im very loving and caring, which is hard to live with in an era with so much "be a man" or " dont be gay" words being thrown around but, i dont care. Peace, Love and Light to you all.

    Namaste

  • me too!!! i'm 25 but still i cry whenever i hear this kind of music,..we have similarities, i'm very loving and caring even to other people,my family, especially my cousins/relatives think that i'm so weak and gay....

  • @daucus2003

I have been referred as an Indigo. I believe you may be one too. We are very sensitive, caring and loving. I really could not describe everything that is an indigo here. If you want to search further, please do so

However, your family should be more caring and understanding towards you, but...i can relate very much to you since that is also how some of my family is. The best thing is to not let it bother you and keep on being what you are, a pure loving soul.

    Nice to meet you.

  • @stealdream I'm still proud 2 say I cry at this kind of music and I'm 60 and I believe that It takes a man to say it. Be proud to cry and feel true emotionmit makes us better people!

  • @mirovomike Thank you very much. I'm happy to hear that. I really do feel proud and nothing will ever change that. The only thing that has been very difficult for me is finding a Girlfriend. I just hope I find the right girl for me. It's very hard to find one when most like the "bad boy" or the one's that treat them with disrespect, but are attracted to that... somehow. I know I will find her one day, I just need to keep looking with hopes high. Thanks again, you made me smile today.

    Namaste

  • @mirovomike Do you not believe we are here:? Do not be a fool... We are all around you. I am sitting next to you.

  • @stealdream Stand with us,

  • @Kitabo27 What's the cause?... I'm sorry for not understanding.

  • @stealdream You shall decide this for yourself.

  • @Kitabo27 Very true... I stand with Humanity. Receiving and Giving much Peace, Love and Light. May all the Indigos in this world realize their true purpose... and bring about the 5th dimension. Living One Vibrational Energy = LOVE.

  • @stealdream Well said. Then we stand together.

  • @Kitabo27 Together we are.

    Namaste

  • @stealdream Please Stand with me. Pax Vobiscum

  • @Kitabo27 We stand together...

  • @stealdream

I am An Angel of Wrath. Sempiternam. You have nothing to fear.

  • @Kitabo27 No fear is in my heart... Only unconditional love.

    In Lak'ech

  • @stealdream I love your comment! I'm 60 and still feel the way you do and, yes, this made me cry. We live in a hard world where too many people's hearts are closed to the pain and suffering of others and of the earth. But this music gives me hope. It's really quite subversive in a very good way.

  • @cedarbeam Thank you! ^-^ I'm glad there are more people opening their hearts everyday and its multiplying! I really do enjoy reading comments like these... Thank you very much again for commenting. Peace, Love and Light...

    In Lak'ech

  • @stealdream thank you for saying such a thing... I believe being able to feel this type of emotion directly from music is a gift from god himself, and something incredibly rare... do not listen to those who discourage tenderness, caring and love... this world would be far better off with more of "you" in it :) ty!

  • @PewPewReload Thank you very much. I appreciate the comment.

One day, we will all live in oneness and equality where everyone is loved unconditionally and live without fear or harm. In that day... I will finally feel like im closer to everyone and see them as family.

    In'Lak'ech

  • @stealdream That is a real treassure you are holding in your hands. Keep it!!! God bless

  • @Lazyjazzy Thank you. Much appreciated.

    In Lak'ech

  • @stealdream - Nothing wrong with being in touch with your inner feelings! Because of your age, you are a man. And I sir am in my mid 50's and I love these little angels for their gifts of song. Stop worrying about things you have no control over and you keep right on feeling the way you do. :)

  • @ChatPro1: Thank you. It does make feel a lot better knowing that I have people who really do understand. I sometimes read these messages when I need to get though the day... and of course, listen to song. Thanks again.

    In Lak'ech

  • @stealdream Respect :)

  • @LiberaGemma: Thank you very much. : )

    Much love.

  • @stealdream

I have to 100% agree with you, i' exacly the same.

    Peace and love back.

  • @stealdream I agree, when you have beautiful music like this being sung by beautiful voices it sends chills though you. The people that make remarks like those you mention are narrow minded without the ability to appreciate the more beautiful things on this earth. Maybe if folks relaxed a little more we wouldn't have all these awful things happening. Those out there that can't or won't appreciate music like this or the voices, such as Libera, that sing it must be living a very sorryful life.

  • And Lloyd-Webber insisted he he was not aware of the Faure Requiem ....

    Yeah, right.

  • it's so beautiful...i love it so much...=)

  • So beautiful

  • excellent

  • wow i wish i had a voice like that.. like wow.. u could really touch some people with that

  • Such beauty and comfort for a troubled

    world.

  • Wow!!!!

  • I wish I had that boy in the Los Angeles Childrens Chorus. That was most touching.

Mil felicitaciones y bravo!!!!

  • very amazing

  • This is beautiful

    because come me which tears

  • "There will not be another Oliver' of this time..his character is like a young doe with Angels breathe whispered with the spirit of God...

  • The words in Latin are based on the prayers for the Requiem of Funeral Mass:

Pie Jesu qui tollis peccata mundi (Loving Jesus, who takes away the sins of the world)

dona eis requiem (grant him rest.)

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi (Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world)

Dona eis requiem, sempiternam (grant him rest, eternally).

  • a scholar! very good! for something challenging, try sanskrit :)

  • What does it all mean in English, anyone know? It is so beautiful but how nice it would be to know the words.

  • Mein Gott hat der eine Stimme

  • the first time i heart this, i was thinking :

OMG im dEAD! so beauthiful.. angels excist! (srry for english)

  • It makes you feel in heaven, so beautiful it is.

Important for those who likes it.

  • ThePie Jesu, in what language it is sang? Or created? Thx

  • Latin.

  • In latin.

  • This is the first time I have heard someone who is not Sarah Brightman sing this song and liked it!

What are the lyrics to this song?

  • pie jesu pie jesu pie jesu pie jesu

    qui tollis peccata mundi

dona eis requiem, dona eis requiem

agnus dei agnus dei agnus dei agnus dei

    qui tollis peccata mundi

dona eis requiem dona eis requiem

    sempiternam sempiternam sempiternam(requiem)

  • Thanks!

  • It is just me or is this the sort of thing you'd hear on the way to heaven?

Incredibly beautiful and the way it echoes sounds like it's drifting on the wind from a distance.

  • boy is nice

  • you said it in the most simplest way possible, but it's so funny how you said it. haha

  • Great boys, great singers!

The Original by Webber was meant as a duett by one grown -up female soprano

and a boys soprano ! But everything is possible of course... there is even a group of only old monks singing it-and its great too! Whatever you want...whatever you like!

  • Pie Jesu domine,

    dona eis requiem. (repeat 2x)

    Kind Lord Jesus,

    grant them rest.

    Pie Jesu domine,

    dona eis requiem sempiternam.

    Kind Lord Jesus,

    grant them eternal rest.

  • fantastic and when i saw a vid with Hayley singing this i said:Woo i have never heard highest notes in my life and she was only 15 and this also is an angel voice

  • too beautiful

  • Here Here

  • I feel sorry for those who don't recognize the hand of God at work in a wicked world creating an angelic child with an angelic voice. God bless you, Oliver, and don't forget who gave you life and died for your sins.

  • andrew jonston is much better lol

  • You really cant compare Libera to any real cathedral choirister like Andrew or the Boys Air Choir...ect....Andrew's background and training was far superior to anything the Libera boys are able to get...They do a good job considering where they come from and the amount of training they get..

  • beautiful :)

  • plus singing in a hall is cheating... it makes it sound so much better

    like the bathroom

  • frank sinatra was an athiest

    so owned

  • No, he was catholic!

  • i was watching an interview, and he said

'i am not part of any religion what so ever'

  • He died as a believing Catholic! R.I.P.!

  • I have always been interested in the nomenclature surrounding religion.

When I wa asked what my religion was I said "Christianity" not "Congregationalist:". When a Moslem or Hundu is asked that they reply "Moslem" rather than"Sunni" or Hindu rayher than idntifuing one of the thousand Gods they chose to worship. When a Catholic is asked the word "Christianity" is not the first thing he thinks of. I have even heard kids say, "I am a Catholic ; not a Christian" Why is this?

  • which one died and how?

  • Frank Sinatra! R.I.P.!

  • oh lol my mistake. i thought one of the children in this video had died.

  • Hermosas voces.

  • in the VERY first seconds we see a blond haired boy wearing a red cassock. It's Aled Jones, isnt it? It woud be great to have this sequence not cut, do you happen to have it in store? ;)

  • If your friend who made me laugh jajaja vibe but I find your comment very funny

  • religious debates are boring, people.

  • God knows that we are not angels but sinful people, also those boys. But it is not preventing to be gifted with some special skills and voices.

  • Wow, what a pessimistic comment.......yes the boys have wonderful voices. That would have sufficed.

  • Those boys have done more than you have ever dreamed. Whether or not they have sinned is not our concern, nor should it be yours. That is between them and their Pie Jesu Domine (their lord and savior). Thus, I find myself in agreement with ScientiaVeritasEtLux. By the way, "Angel Voices" is a group of talented boys. It's their Group name, not their self-given title on you tube. Evidece of this on top right corner: "Angel Voices member Oliver Putland sings Pie Jesu..."

  • awesome song...

but it wasnt god that made him sing so beautifully... it was his hard work and determination

  • let's not turn a beautiful song into a religious debate

  • what about the talent?? who gave this boy his talent I wonder?

  • Whose to say anybody gave him his talent. It may have been a god, but there have been wonderful atheist singers as well. Most singers develop their skills over many years, they aren't typically born with 'angelic' singing voices. Although they may be born with the potential to be capable of developing a great voice. But I agree with beatinbuddy, this doesn't have to turn into a religious debate. We should just appreciate their music as it is, rather than pointlessly pondering its origin.

  • No wonder why God love his children so much. Fantastic.

  • omg i started to cry when i heard this =(

  • Magnifique voix d'Oliver! Merci

  • THEY ARE GODS LITTLE ANGELS

  • wow

  • I love how Angel Voices always wears white garbs. They really are angels.

  • very good acustic in church makes their voices sound heavenly

  • this boys are have talent this song clearly is acompany by angels in heaven... this so relaxing... thank you.

  • Awesome!!!
