if nfl had less commercials and had less time inbetween downs nfl would be more entertaing to watch still i think both sports are equally better than any other teamsport
Both very cool sports. I live in South Africa and have been playing rugby for about 8 years now, but if I ever moved to the States I would definitely give gridiron a try.
everyone saying that the pads "double your weight" or are "body armor" have obviously never played football. the pads weigh about 5 lbs (including helmet) dont diss something u no nothing about. and idk how anyone can call football a pansy sport when its 90% big strong fast black dudes hell linebackers nowadays average around 250 lbs and run 4.5 second 40 yard dashes
wrong gmonsta- a rugby player will find it quite comfortable in a michelin man suit bouncing off others in their suits...but i cannot say the same for the michelin man taking that comfort off and having to make bone-one-bone crushing tackles...hahaha...rugby > nfl
Hey bud, merry Christmas aye. This is still by far my fav of all three you've done so far.
Vol 4 on its way? You should do one with Iron Man by Iron Maiden with the Carter run against Aus when he bumped off three players to score and the Deuce McAlister run for the Saints the other week - the McAlister run was awesome.
Anyway, hope you're having an awesome summer.
PS: You need to make a new NBA vid soonish with loads of LeBron....
No plans for a Vol. 4 at this point but that could change if I run into some good footage.
I am planning on making 2 NBA mixes though. One's a M.J. mix and the other a dunk mix. There's a talented guy in our crew by the name of Domino who just released a Lebron mix the other day. You should check it out. Search for DominoPro.
You know what i like about rugby the fact that the big men can run, i have played football since i was 6 now im 17 and i started playn rugby 3 years ago and its so addicting honestly people pads and helmets help out alot and dont be ignorant by saying they arnt ment to help only to hit harder SIKE! IMAGINE A 270 POUND tight head running full speed at you, not many football players i know that would try to hit him without there pads and helmets (dont waste your time arguing it makes you look bad)
U guys are joking if you think that padding doesnt do much! If i had all that on me i wud dive head first into a car!! take that padding off and get one of those NFL players to run at jerry collins and see who cums off 2nd best!
Look, being hit harder doesn't MATTER when you're wearing your padded bra, stockings and a helmet. You could hit my gran hard if she was wearing all that stuff. She'd probably enjoy it.
This other guy left a comment saying the rules of rugby help adhere to softer players as in you cant hit them in the air and you have to fully wrap up.
And yes the pads do absorb some of the force, but they have the situations that set up to be hit harder than the situations in rugby especially with their rules.
Face it NFL players are bigger faster stronger than rugby players.
they're bigger and they're stronger because they're bigger but they're definitely not faster, there is only a few that are fast a whole lot of them are 350-400lb beasts. Rugby players have better cardio and are more athletic on average, you can't be 400lbs in rugby, you can't waste your energy on one run and expect a break in rugby, etc. and no matter what you say, no pads is no pads bone on bone contact.
@cubicleBOB yes, because you can't hit like a braindead imbecile without pads and helmets that double your weight. AF isn't about being hard or strong, it's about gear.
@cubicleBOB I like both Rugby union $ american football.I'm sure the hits are harder, but the breaks between plays and the fact that you only either play offence or defence is a huge difference. I play rugby and the hits can be very hard, but at the breakdown and rucks are ridiculously tough and I guarantee you that football players wouldn't be able for it. Oh ya that sports science thing shouldnt really count, it was an NFL player vs an "LA Rugby" player! try NFL vs super 15/heineken cup player
The only two tackling rules in gridiron football are the following: You cannot grasp and pull an opposing players faceguard and you cannot grasp an opposing player by the back of his shoulder pads and pull him down. Other then those two minor rules you can attack a player any way you chose this is not so in rugby. In rugby there are many tackling limitations. if rugby was played with a few gridiron rules people would die, and you can believe that as a fact. many people died before padding.
now don't take what im saying and run in a different direction like rugby fans and players often do. I am not saying gridiron requires better skill then rugby because i don't necessarily believe that to be true every sports has its own demanding skills except golf and baseball where you only have to be a fat guy with a club lol! but i find it laughable when people say rugby players hit harder then gridiron players. because the fact is if a rugby player played gridiron w/o pads he would be killed
@z0mgrugbyisback no man the wrapping rule is important to keep the game responsible, otherwise you'll get idiotic bodychecks which do not require any form of skill.
The "armor" in American football is often used as weaponry to hit as hard as possible, so I don't see a difference. It doesn't offer nearly as much protection as one might think. Either way any of them could probably take hits harder than you internet warriors, so who gives a fuck
this shit is not even fer to compare ma niggas what a fuk is american football only play in one country ,,,,,rugby got over 20leagues in the world and world cup for countries ma nigga what nfl got nothin ma niggas
you cant seriousley think that because rugby players dotn wear armour its rougher than U.S football.... its coz they dont need armour cock breath n the impact of rugby tackles compared to gridiron tackles is so much smaller you can tell that jus by watching an american football game and a rugby game i dont even play either.. n no i aint american im english so i should love rugby but i think american football has miles harder hits
my comments never got thumbed up... :(

Silly to compare two very different sports. Gridiron is tougher on the body. I recommend kids play rugby or soccer instead.

I checked out DoPro's mix, but the video quality wasn't that great and the watermark or whatever that kept popping up was annoying :D
His Kobefield one was nice though, and a really good idea.

U just prove the point that has been proved in sport science.
It is BECAUSE of the Pads that they HIT HARDER than Rugby palyers.

League players tackle without wrapping. And the hits aswell as the game benefit from it.
I think Rugby League is proof that the wrapping up rool is nonsense.
Injury rates aren't going to go through the roof without the use of arms.
Union would benefit from the no-arm tackle rule immensely. In terms of watchabiliy and fan base.
