I always felt the same about that part. It's actually my favorite part of this song. And Morbid Angel's "Pain Divine" also have that similar style of epic riffs like the one from this song. I think Morbid Angel is one of most ignored band when it comes to their influence of Scandinavian Black Metal bands because if we look at these riffs and their tremolo technique that was implied, it is very obvious that Black Metal bands were musically influenced by Morbid Angel.
