At this point, you may already know, but I believe it to be a G chord (as the song key as well,) followed by an F (Full or partial bar, doesn't really matter) in the verses, then a C, D, and G progression during the chorus.

Don't know if it possibly helps any, or if you already figured it out. :)

Praise to you for pulling this off nicely. Jesse's voice is tough to cover without sounding absurd. The first Youngbloods LP has several other masterpieces on there. If you search online you'll heat at least one other track from this LP. Keep up the good work.
