I love this scene. The holes always remind me of BOB sayind of Leland "But now he's weak and full of holes". BOB possessing poor Leland left his host unwhole. The shot at the beginning of this scene visually hits this home.

I love the way this scene opens....through the holes...awesome.
Fincher uses that kind of technique in some of his work.
