Buff-buu is stronger than Buuicolo and Superbuu because when normal superbuu was transforming into kid buu he was temporarily in his buff form midway and when that happened goku said "wait he's getting stronger". Then when he turned to kid Buu goku said "now he seems to be getting weaker".
Piccolo adds hardly any power so that's why buicolo doesn't surpass buffbuu.
@Dante9377 This theme(the original from the anime) came out waaaaaaaaay before those two themes. Besides the 02 theme lost it's original impact after being idolized to death and Marx theme was never that great to begin with. If you want a good Kirby villian theme go look up Magoolor's theme from Kirby's Return to Dreamland.

To be fair to the Planet Burst move, it is not unusual to have the attack itself be morepowerful than its user.Tien's Neo Tri Beam is an example of this, the attack itself was able to slowdown Cell so it wasn't as much that Tien was stronger as much as it was the strenth of the attack. Even earlier was the Saiyan when Piccolo's beam cannon and Goku's kamaehameha wave multiplied powers in the fight against raditz/

When Goku said that, Super Buu changed back into Buff Buu. When he in turn converted into Kid Buu, Vegeta and Goku were practically jumping for joy about how weak they thought he was.
Kid Buu is by far the strongest. They hint it several times and say it three times as well. Also, they were only happy because they were on the Kai planet and the could fight without worrying about the planet being damaged.
In ep. 263 I believe; Supreme Kai tells Goku & Vegeta that they can't fight him alone, and that he was more powerful than ever.

Also, GotenksBuu states in the manga that he was the strongest Majin there ever was, and Super Buu was aware of the existence of Kid Buu.
And there it is, the irrefutable proof that GohanBuu > Kid Buu.
Chapter 500 page 11, GotenksBuu states that he is the strongest majin ever.
Chapter 507 page 7, Super Buu implies that he is aware of Kid Buu's existence.
Chapter 509 page 4, Kid Buu is stated to be the most dangerous majin, not the strongest. By absorbing the Kai's he became more timid and calm and easier to control.

When Goku said that, Super Buu changed back into Buff Buu. When he in turn converted into Kid Buu, Vegeta and Goku were practically jumping for joy about how weak they thought he was.

Kid Buu is by far the strongest. They hint it several times and say it three times as well. Also, they were only happy because they were on the Kai planet and the could fight without worrying about the planet being damaged.
In ep. 263 I believe; Supreme Kai tells Goku & Vegeta that they can't fight him alone, and that he was more powerful than ever.

Kaioshin gets scared at the sight of Kid Buu because that is the Buu he remembers that wiped out all the Kai's. He fears Kid Buu because he is unstable, not because of his power.

@Robito But it is because of his power. He says Kid Buu is the most powerful several times. I think the reason for this is that Fat Buu was removed. He also said that the Kai's he absorbed were weakening his power, not making him stronger. Thus when Vegeta cut Fat Buu down, the South Kai and the Grand Fat Kai's power dampening traits were un-done.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard; If Goku would have lost to Kid Buu, the universe would have been decimated. Goku absolutely cared when he fought Kid Buu; he just didn't care enough to fuse because he knew that Kid Buu was much weaker than Gohan Buu.
Prove me wrong, and don't give me that bullshit answer that the Supreme Kai said so. That was, as you put it, a loophole. He never said anything like that in the manga.

The "comic" is the original, it's canon. So whatever it says is the source material for the series. It is never stated in the canon that Kid Buu is stronger than GohanBuu, nor is it ever implied. Not once.
It's only stated once in the anime, and that was a mistranslation. Goku running away from GohanBuu while jumping at the chance to fight Kid Buu one on one is all the proof that is needed to show that GohanBuu > Kid Buu.

I just doubled checked the manga; it states that Kid Buu was the most dangerous Buu, not the strongest. When he absorbed the Kai's, the power over his will became weaker, and he became more controllable.
Also, GotenksBuu states in the manga that he was the strongest Majin there ever was, and Super Buu was aware of the existence of Kid Buu.
And there it is, the irrefutable proof that GohanBuu > Kid Buu.

Chapter 500 page 11, GotenksBuu states that he is the strongest majin ever.
Chapter 507 page 7, Super Buu implies that he is aware of Kid Buu's existence.
Chapter 509 page 4, Kid Buu is stated to be the most dangerous majin, not the strongest. By absorbing the Kai's he became more timid and calm and easier to control.

But Goku wasn't at full power either. He states later on that if he wasn't in a living body he could have produced enough power to destroy Kid Buu. It's logical to assume that if Goku was SSJ3 [and dead with no kai restraints] when Kid Buu destoryed the Earth, there would have been a good chance that he could have blocked that energy ball.
