@Oli4drums 16ply would be a good choice because it adds more attack and some volume. Keep the depth of the drum on the smaller side like 5x14. You probably don't need or want the resonation that a larger shell produces. Die cast hoops will add brightness and cut so may be a good option for you to add.
@XxStrongDrums1996xX A deeper shell isn't louder and it doesn't have a deeper tone either. A deeper shell just resonates longer than a shallower shell. That may give the impression of a "deeper tone" because it rings longer, but it will produce the same pitch if the diameter is the same and tension on the drumhead is the same.
@spaundrumstv Well, I guess it depends on how you define what deep tone is. I know that the actual pitch of the attack won't change, but since the drum will have more body and resonance, which gives it more presence, which in turn makes it sound deeper.
please, give us video with split drums. it's really interesting how they sound, but there is no available information

I love your drums and your videos, could you show more of the bearing edges and the shell thickness?

@spaundrumstv But you also have to remember that a deeper shell is louder, and has deeper tone. A vented 6.5" shell might also work for metal.

@XxStrongDrums1996xX Yes, it could be perceived as a deeper tone.
