havent really kept records of this list was using it alot and usually winning but local competion began to tweek lists aginst it so ive switched to 2 diffrent alternate list to keep my oppenents guessing.. hmmm i think ill start tracking my lists :)

If I was him, I'd move them from cover to cover, and besides they have storm shields, with that lovely 3+ invunerable save.

Doh forgot that one. Ill put Lysander in a list sooner or later but he is more useful as a second in command as his tatics are limited in my opinion

oh the first 5 dont have power weapons Just shields all they are there for is to protect shrike. The second 5 have no shields just power weapons each 5 squad is 250pts. rember this is just 1 small part of a large assault so who cares if they get waxed if they draw fire away from the rest of the army in the 2500 pt list ill still get 3+ units in first turn assault :)

i do agree Vanguard are best with shrike and as far as points there 250 as i have them just about as much as a fully loaded tac squad with a razorback. they survieved about half the games i played but allways served a purpose even if only as a fire magnet to protect other troops.

well i can allways choose to reserve them and come in from outflank. also if i dont there shuch a fire magnet and with the storm shields they can survive alot and take fire off of other units. as far as distance goes with infiltrate it will be 18inches at the worst and shrike can cover that without fleeting. so can the scouts with their scout move.

No this list is awesome it will work and even if it doesnt its better than seeing the same bog standard SM lists other people use. Its very balanced with the drop pods and vanguard, plus vanguard are the most underated thing in the game.

i was using my honnor guard as stand ins for power weapon equiped sargents :)
