  • Obviously you've never seen the Behringer I-nuke Boom!!

  • Dock : Bullshit , Apple Stuff :Bullshit

  • 140 watts my arse, there's no way that's an RMS figure - total bullshit, more like 5w RMS me thinks

  • iNUKE BOOM! sounds like me in the morning. anyways you guys cant beat american shit load of ideas. The thing actually looks like a nuclear bomb...i wonder if japan saw it in the sky? any other system in the world has to be bigger than the washington memorial. im just say'in.

  • You guys obviously haven't heard about the Klipsch iFi

  • Bitch please.

    Search up Inuke boom

  • have just bought a kicker ik501 capable of really high volumes. but for some placements may be a bit too much vibration so you can hear them too much

  • nice speaker shame youre going to ruin it with a crappy ipod and mp3's

  • B & W Zeppelin Air is not a bad product compared with ARCAM rcube can zeppelin air play much louder. with much stronger and deeper bass

  • monster beatbox is the loudest but Zeppelin Air has the best sound and it does not crack up at high volumes but if you want to play really loud so is monster beatbox a better choice

  • @ande320 false. Kicker Ikick501 is the loudest. I made a comparison video. Check out.

  • zeppelin air sounds much better than the kicker ik501 and have deeper bass and better sound quality.

If I was looking for than really powerful iPod dock and the money was not a problem I would have chosen Bose SoundDock 10

if I had less money then I would have chosen monster beatbox

  • @ande320 no

  • @topod1 what do you say

  • @Seanjon916 which is loudest between kicker ik501 and monsters beatbox

  • @ande320 The ik501 is much louder and delivers much more thump than the beatbox. My ikick was over a year and a half old when I tested it against a brand new beatbox that i returned the next day.

  • haha! loud but not loudest, clearest or the best in that style... try looking at the Arcam rCube

  • Loudest? Try this:

Loudest iPod dock: Geneva Sound System, Model XL - 600 Watt music & 40 kg.

Sounds better than B&W Zeppelin: Geneva, Model M (Product of the year 2011, "What Hifi" Magazin)

  • @LeBubbleBoy it is too large to be ranked as an ipod dock then you might as well buy large floor speakers with subwoofer that sounds much better for the money.

zeppelin air sounds better than the Geneva Sound System XL, for the money.

Geneva Sound System XL will cost five times more than zeppelin air

  • But does this thing go to 11

  • I know it will not be sold in US....Yankees cant handle. Only the Dutchies can handle this sh!t

  • 140watts output... But only 70va input????

    Someones been telling fibs...

  • @bigfathairybiker I don't think so

VA is a unit for effective output concerning AC

so it's possible that the speakers themselves have an output of 140 W (but only in theory)

  • zeppelin air sounds better than dali bookshelf speakers for $ 200-300

  • B & W Zeppelin air may not be the most powerful iPod speaker. but easily the best sound. compared with the speakers I have tested monsters beatbox, Bose SoundDock 10, B & O BeoSound 8th BeoSound 8 is the one that comes closest zeppelin air but it is way too expensive. zeppelin air may be expensive for most users. but sounds so much better than everyone else. monsters beatbox is also a good choice if you do not have much money. it can play really loud.

  • @ande320 Arcam rCube sounds f'ing great. I heard a few in an audio store in SF. The Bose and Zeplin sounded like they had a blanket over them when I did an A,B test in various locations in various rooms. The Arcam product is pricey but a much better thought out and delivered product.. Check it out yourself before getting anything else.

    cheers!

  • @wooferfreak I' guessing your joking it has shit loads compared to the rest in it's price range

  • zeppelin air is the best

  • @ande320 Agreed.

  • No review?

  • I got one and I was expecting a lot and it exceeded my expectations! Clear sound and really nice deep bass. I can hear it through out the whole house.

I still don't know why this was not sold in the US!

  • Does anybody know why this iPod dock was not sold in the US?

  • its impossible to determine the "Best" docking station. I personally have a Kicker iKick 500 which I love to death.

But the three go-to brands would be Bose, Kicker, and Pioneer. All 3 offer superb docking stations for around the $500 mark. You can't go wrong really, no matter which docking station you buy from these 3 companies, you'll be very happy with it.

  • Loudest 1 in world bullshit my panasonic works with iPod Via USB dock and it's 600w

  • for anyone watching this, save your money and buy a kicker ik500

  • @bjm6469 i have the zk500, it's excellent!

  • @nolrame I LOVE the fact that it has a passive radiator in the back :)

  • sorry but you say 140w is the loudest ipod dock in the world im sorry to say but I have 7500w so im afraid you have been beat

  • 1)very u ugly

    2)no bass

    3) bad quality

  • 140 watts. is not power ful, my ipoid dock is rated at 405 watts. this is rediculous and a 5" subwoofer should just not be used. this is pathetic. the loudest ipod dock in the world. i am shocked they could evan post this herendi :(

  • @jvcrvb90: More watts doesnt equal more sound.

  • @Crodon then explain why the stereo in my car is rated at 2,000 watt, and my strereo at home is 405 watts. exact same set up, 2 coaxials and 2 subwoofers, but the car is much louder. look at wooferfreak's comment. that dock is pathetic.

  • @jvcrvb90 Agree with Crodon, more watts doesn't mean louder sound. Speaker box design, speaker specs (db's with 1w input) and amp design all play a part. A 1000w amp connected to a speaker in a crap box will not make it automatically loud.

As for the car vs living room, compare the size of the inside of your car and that of your room, look at the speaker size and how much air it needs to move compared to the room size, you're comparing apples to a potatoe.

  • @arzasa eh no, bigger magnet means more power which means bigger cone surface area which equals more sound. its simple.

  • @jvcrvb90 having a bigger magnet doesn't give you more cone surface area O.o ..

  • Get``"An`,"IPOD```Now"'.

    Simply"'"Copy`',And,``Paste.".

  • audioengin 5

  • So if i'm correct the best docks are the kicker, altec lansing mix and the harman kardon go play?

  • 140 watts...my ass -.-

  • And you could't play it?

  • its not about loudness its about quality of sound

  • Is this better than the kicker ik500 for bass?

  • crappy review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bose sounndock 10 goes louder and have more sound quality an than logic 3 jivebox

  • @ande320 The bose is very overpriced unles you're paying for it's small size.

  • @MrFredHoogendoorn bose may be expenisive, but bose soundock 10 and zeppelin is sthe best ipod speakers.

  • @ande320 maybe u ahven't use the ikick501 from Kicker :D

  • @IgnoredComment i dont now how kicker sounds but i got zeppelin air thats the best ipod speaker in my option.

and i have heard that kicker ik501 have aggressive treble. zeppelin air have perfect sound no aggressive treble. and it much louder than the orginal zeppelin

  • they missed to say: Made in China. 72 Hours guarentee.

  • my ipod speakers consist of logitech drivers and a 500watt 6.5inch sub by KLH...

really bad ass for the size

  • at the end of the day as any true audiophiles will say home audio is all about the sound quality and not just who has the loudest sterio because its pointless haveing a banging loud sterio if you cat even hear the words clearly

  • Looks like a Bose product.

And I hope you know what that means! :-S

  • 30 seconds O:

  • oooh i went into a shop saw this and was like " awesome =3 " plugged in my ipod to test and and was blown away and everyone in the store jumped and stared at me

  • Way better than what Bose can do!!!

    Also £60 at HMV

I think it's a bit better than the zeppelin mini!?!

  • @awdean1 it will own the zepplin mini. the ordinary zepplin is good, but zepplin mini have bad sound the bose

soundock is better and is portable

  • i want that Ø.Ø

  • no the bowers and winking Zeppelin is way better

  • 150 pounds? Thats a lot. But if u need it, then I guess you'll buy it.

  • hi there! Fantastic sound? can be a challenge to AltecLansing boombox IMT800?have not see this in Asia? Who's the manufacturer? Any sole agents/distributor name . email, website, that I can write to? wat's the model name/number?thanks

  • mine is louder

  • This Isn't the loudest. This and Kicker's 500W iKick 500 battled out, The kicker was so loud it shook itself of the table.

  • this contains the same amplifier as the one in the Razer Mako.

  • @amaple312 i have heard it and the ikick must get loud to get more bass

sounddock 10 its way much better

  • @ande320 hey, thanks for supporting bose. i love bose. you get good sound quality from 2 little tiny speakers. i mean, gigantic speakers sound like shit, its not like, bigger speakers mean more air moves and has a fuller tone. little bose speakers are all the way!!!

dude... bose sucks, $400 for an ipod dock MY ASS

  • this one is old! Block rocker is the best on the market today, and its on battery!

  • That "woofer" on the bottom is really a passive radiator. The woofer is on top.

  • Meh.. I got two 120 watts 8'' subs in a ported "labyrinth" enclosure and they go pretty fucking low.. pretty fucking loudly I might add.

It's fun to crank up the volume to max on a 20Hz test tone and watch that shit flex.

  • 150!!!! got mine for 60 =D =D HMV...

  • lol being the retard that i am i turned my computer down before watching :/

  • It is only £60 in HMV

  • ...doggie,,its, not about 140 watts it,s about clean watts can you get 4 clean watts out of that how much is it...? say it cost $300 do you think at $300 a 140 watts will sound good,,,,they put the word Jive on it because there Jiving everyone under 21,,

  • i herd louder

  • cool dock - wtf i want to HEAR IT!!!!

  • I would say a 750w Sony mhcgtz3i is quite a bit more powerful lol but that thing is not portable it shakes your floorboards lol

  • woow so this is the best in the world uh?

i think these guys never experienced an harmann kardon dock

  • thats shit the bowers and winkins zeplen is much better this is like and iphone spear compare to that

  • I really did not understand a word you just typed

  • how much does it cost?

  • does this have great sound quality?

and does it still have a clear sound quality and not sound distorted when you turn it up ?

140 Watts is alot of power and im looking for a ipod dock that can go very loud while still having a clear quality sound and a nice thumping bass

and $150 isnt a bad price either

someone please answer these my questions

  • I havent got it but its 150 quid, british money. In dollars it'll be about $400

  • massively powerful, loudest ipod dock in the world?? yet only 140 watts??? how th fuck does that work??? ur a bullshitting turd

  • wouldn't put my iPhone in it, the vibrations might brake it or something if you turn the volume up

  • i have this, the bass is UNBELIEVABLE

  • my friend has this - NO BASSSSS!

  • i heard this it had NO bass it SUCKED

  • I had this dock but after 7months is broke. they said they wernt selling them anymore because they wernt produced to take all the sound :/ such a shame it was absolutly amazing sound...

  • It's a shame no one looks at TS parameters and SPL anymore. Sensitivity means a hell of a lot more than power handleing.

  • does this work with the iphone 3gs

  • @sannyp120963 if it works with the ipod touch then it should

  • not necessarily iphones are thicker and if a dock is not made for it interference could happen

  • Lmao at the comments on this.. O yea my truck stereo has 3500 watts rms and 6500 watts max..

Im not bragging im just fuckin around..

Thinking about buying the Kicker zune dock for my girlfriend.

  • I love it how people boast about how much better their sound system is. Because of course, everyone knows the amount of watts your sound system is, is directly correlated to penis length

  • For real! Nobody knows what the hell they are talking about anymore. My friend thought he was tough because he had a 2000W Sony Xplod system in his car. I built a JBL system with custom speakers with such high sensitivity that they were louder and cleaner at 500W than his were at 2kW.. Lol

  • YES! finally someone who understands less power with a higher sensitivity can sounds louder AND cleaner!

  • Glad someone agrees! That drives me nuts! The car audio industry is booming right now (no pun intended), but cheap companies that make poor quality equipment are making a killing, because they throw CRAZY high numbers about the power handling of their speakers, and everyone buys it right up! Too bad it's going to sound like garbage once they crank it up loud..

  • YEAH! thats why i did the research alot of friends gave me shit ohhh 2000 watts? come on i have a power acoustik 5500 watt amp, i was like lol lets see whos sounds best at full tilt, haha mine was louder and cleaner god, still cheap companys make a killing by new people seeing big bolded numbers 5500watts max not knowing its like 300rms or some shitty figure haha

  • I do live sound for churches and things, so I am very picky when it comes to my sound, I wasn't about to put anything crappy in my car with the amount of time I spend driving (At least an hour a day). I feel bad for people that waste their money on systems that practically make the car sound worse than it did stock..

  • yes well i dabble in car audio and even homeaudio, i at once thought of buying home stereo subwoofers because their ratings are sometimes around 100dbs for sensitivity and getting a matching low powered amp, and wondered what that would sound like, still waiting on trying that out lol

  • Wow that's great sensitivity! I have always wanted to try subwoofers intended for live sound in a car, I have never tried it, though. I have two 15" subs with 99dB sensitivity and 800W RMS. I would love to hear those in my car.

  • i know but i never could figure out how much of a difference a home audio rating is from a car audio rating you know? smaller voicecoils and such

  • I hadn't even thought of that, I'm going to look into it!

  • yeah i've heard this from a few people but never really tested it out mainly because the only PRO home audio amp i have is a mackie i believe its like 400rms but im gonna try it with my type r and see how it does haha

  • @thexxsweetness EXACTLY! Ask anyone who thinks their system bumps what kind of speakers they have and 7/10 times you will here, sony, low-end pioneer and JVC. All over-rated companys, some stuff is good but how about that ridiculous claim of the xplod being 1300 watts max power, Bullshit.

  • its a sound system not an ipod dock sorry

  • did u fail this comment on purpose? or are u just retarded?... how can u even compare a "sound system" with an ipod dock ?

  • im saying 150watt is pathetic.

put it his way, that prbaly costs a few quid, i dont know say 150/200 quid?

my car soundsystem cost 300 quid right, and it over 2,500 watts.

    go figure it out.

to pay that money for an iod dock is stupid, the batteries probaly dont lats long and you could make a louder one that cheaper

    right?

  • Lulz no car audio systems has 2500 watts :P

Do the math and you will c....

  • car systems arn't great they sound muffled and had no deffintion home stereos are better sounding.

  • @bila222 put some badass tweeters on it?

  • Sry m8t but you're sound dock doesn't come anywhere near 600 Watts, probably it's a mere 30/60Watts at the most.

  • i dont have a sound dock lmao

i have a full audio system in my room which i connect my i pod to.

    and i have 2 90db speakers, 4 300 watt speakers and a 200 watt woofer.

and you obviously dont know anything about ICE, my car has a cheap set up, only cost me like £500 for the lot, and its just over 2500 watts, my freind has a pair of subs that are twice that power, there are loads of cars with in care audio over 2,500 watts, theres even cars with over 25,00 watts, look it up on youtube....tool

  • WTF? 150W? my subwoofer has less then that.

  • You know, not many people know this, only audiophiles that study audio, but watts are one of the least important. Yeah, you heard me, least. There is way more to a speaker then watts. I really don't care if my sub is 50 or 500 watts because it can be only 100 and do over 120db in a proper enclosure.

  • @masterwolf1212 agreed my 230 watt Klipsch sub is ridiculously loud and crisp

  • @masterwolf1212 your like half true... watts have a lot to do with power (well they are power haha) but as far as reaching db's... your going to need a lot of watts WITH a nice box

  • @masterwolf1212 eh? i agree but eh?

  • @masterwolf1212 wow he took his stupid pill this morning. i get what your trying to say you just said it wrong. power (watts) isn't as important as db. a 60db(@1w x 1m) sub powered with a 100w amp sux when compared with a 100db sub using a 25w amp. you have to double the power for every 3db gain.

  • @masterwolf1212 WRONG! Get ur facts straight before posting crap!!!!

  • @sniperboi99 Oh? How so? The enclosure is a very big part in the sound production. For one it resonates the freqeuncy, which helps the woofer/subwoofer produce louder sound. Also, it builds pressure therefore releasing a higher sound pressure level. Now the port design plays a big role aswell. There are spl ports, quite explanitory, which sound CRAP on everything else, especially music, than high spl single tone burps at the enclosure peak frequency, or daily, which CAN be loud, and sounds good

  • @sniperboi99 Now I'm sure you havent a CLUE why I was wrong. And havent you noticed many people agree with the comment, thus making it the highest rating. Anyways, I hope you do not think I'm using this as a "status measure" of my account, but I am correct. Now if your going to call ME wrong, then, in all "rightness" and politeness (Un-intentional rhyme :P) you should specify why I am wrong. If you are going to accuse someone to be wrong, then you need to have a reason why, or you'll look stupid

  • @masterwolf1212 there are some ipod docks that use no electricity but have a decent amount of sound incresement.

  • @dudeproductions100 So what, they run off the magical fairy dust from the land of the unicorns? :P But seriously what powers the dock then. I really hope you don't actually think an ipod dock plays without any power, thats 100 PERCENT IMPOSSIBLE AND IF ANY IDIOT WANTS TO DISAGREE THEN GO PUT YOUR HAND IN A FIRE, AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS :3 Without electricity, what would power the voice coils in the speaker drivers? What would the amp deliver? Maybe your saying the ipod powers it? I dont think so

  • @masterwolf1212 never said it has a speaker in it. the shape of the dock increses sound.

  • @dudeproductions100 LOL Then what makes the sound? Your making absolutely no sense. You need a speaker driver to move the air around it, creating pressure, known as sound pressure which we hear. Without a speaker, well, its a box... Maybe your saying its an acoustical enclosure which the sound that comes from the ipod's built in speaker gets amplified by resonation within the enclosure, therefore amplifying the sound and frequencies? Never heard of it, and why not just get a powered dock?

  • @masterwolf1212 i guess you never heard of the "horn" iphone dock. it is in a shape of a horn and naturally increses the sound 2.5 times louder.

  • @dudeproductions100 Ahahaha, I like that idea! Like the old phongraphs! I'd never think of that. I wonder how well it increases the lows. I have a feeling it doesn't, since atleast on phonographs the needle vibrated on the lows, on the ipod built in speaker it cant even produce such a frequency so the low frequencies arent even remotely produced. But sounds like an interesting idea, but probably sounds all midrangy screetchy. I have quite a feeling that they used plastic instead of brass though

  • @masterwolf1212 it is rubber. not brass or plastic.

  • @dudeproductions100 Lol thats gonna do you nothing

In fact plastic would had been better, LOL. Rubber can be strong, but generally not stong enough for resonation, like brass or a metal. Look, I'd stick with speakers, this horn thing will sound bad. All you will hear is high, midrange ear piercing frequencies, and absolutely positively not a hint of lows..... You'll hear absolutely no bass.

  • @masterwolf1212 actaully horns are used in PA speakers, and PA subs, it increases efficiency, and smoothens out the frequency response, when used right, horn loaded enclosures are the best, which is teh reason why its used in proffesional application, however its not as popular for CONsumers becuase it is bulky, and due to size it is impractical.

bass is the biggest improvement in horns, try going to a gig next time, chances are the subs in the concerts probably include a folded horn.

  • @kboy3141 yeah but I don't think you have read the full argument though, but I'm not putting you down or anything. I know about horns, my dad has a recording studio and has a cerwin vega folded horn subwoofer and its loud as shet! xP They're great because they allow the frequencies to resonate properly, and as you said increases efficiency and smoothens the sound. But the person I was arguing with was saying that there is a dock that increases the sound of the internal speaker, which sound tingy

  • @masterwolf1212 finally someone who gets it!

  • mine has a 1000 watts

  • Comment removed

  • That's a different kind of thing completely.

  • прикольно! а мы такие штуки продаем...

  • BS! IPOD HI-FI FRIKEN OWNS EVERYTHING

  • the kicker ipod dock owns this piece of shitt

  • yep it does

  • i have this and let me tell u it is up in my room...the bass can be felt on the floor downstairs from the subwoofer...also kicker is for pussy as cunts

  • 017524062, you spelled recognisable wrong you fucking dumbshit so don't complain about other peoples spelling

  • Comment removed

  • Don't you mean "were not in inglish clas u fuktrad"?

  • Nothing speacial , my homemade has 250w rms for walkman phone :D

  • watt is unimportant for good sound did you know?

  • I'm sorry, but I'm getting increasingly irritated by the fact that not only can't "you people" spell the simplest of English words, or use capital letters in the correct places, or use recognisable grammar, but you don't even seem to know the difference between "of" and "have". God help us! Read and learn you ignorant fool: "A demo would HAVE been nice." Get it? No, I thought not!

  • We're not in english class you fucktard..

  • No one give's a shit about your dumbass

opinion or how other people spell. If you can read it, then it's good enough. Let them learn to spell. You don't have to bitch and complain about it.

  • well we just see no reason to wright with perfect grammar all of the time i uasually do but thats only out of force of habbit but people only wright flawlessly when its an important report or resume seruiously theres no point in complaining about it cause arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics.... even if you win, your still retarded

  • By wright I assume you mean write; uasually- usually, thats-that's, habbit - habit, seruiously- seriously, theres - there's, cause - because, olympics - Olympics, your - you're. That's just the spelling! I could go on. You only help to prove my point. Keep the pathetic insults coming they're hilarious! Special thanks go to the child who called me a fucktard - I really did laugh out loud.

  • your missing the point... we dont use perfect spelling cause its not gonna make a difference either way...... now tell me why its so damn important to use flawless grammer and spelling in pointless comments? really i see no reason to argue about this it is a meaningless conversation

  • demo would of been nice!

  • ikicker ik500 is alot better

  • something i really want to know and NEED AND ANSWER to is this: i bought an ipod speaker and when i have it on loud (even if nothing is playing), it is silent. when i have it set to soft, static is present which sucks if i want to listen to a song silently. SO QUESTION NUMBER 1 IS : IS THERE ANY STATIC AND AT WHAT VOLUME/IS IT NOTICEABLE. the last question is this: REGARDLESS OF VOLUME, IS THE QUALITY OF SOUND GOOD FOR ALL/MOST STLYES OF MUSIC, IF NOT, PLEASE LIST. thanks to anyone who helped

  • at high volumes with small speakers then tend to distort *(go bad quality)

  • well u have your ipod on max and your speak at lil over its the best quality if u have both on max it tends to sound bad unless you have high high quality speakers like bose or jbl or logitec

  • ??? audioengine is the best in sound quality, bose is worst for its price, and logi u pay for the big loud subs instead of the quality.

  • did that say 140 watts,i dont believe that

  • i just bought one for 100 its a beast trust me lol i played david guetta love is gone and the quality is amazin no distortion even when the bass kicks mega hard.

  • 1. well there is no static if what im thinking your refering to is static.

    2. yeah the sound quality is really good i also like ambient music and it plays excellent loud and quiet. kings of leon sounds good aswell but the jivebox does prefer bassy music like rock and hard dance.

  • just because the bass kicks hard doesn't mean it's good..

  • when you are playing hardhouse at full volume and theres no distortion the balance between the treble is equal and the vocals sound perfectly clear and it is able to produce lots of volume i would call that good for an ipod dock worth 100

  • Thats a good setup for a I-pod dock.

  • try harman kardon

  • all you do is show it to us!!
