Thats one hell of a truck if I could afford one I would buy one. As far as comments about reliability its all about changing fliuds and keeping stuff cool so get a egr delete kit. it will increase mpg and reliabilty. As far as powerstrokes having more power than cummins its because of the big ass twin turbo. Turbos are key to making power in a diesel. You put twin turbos on a cummins and the 6.4 won't be mighty anymore. I like them both but won't touch any year chevy diesel.

All black smoke is, is unburned fuel. Having as lil smoke as possible is ideal because your burning your fuel efficiently. On this run the truck was only running a Spartan beta 210 tune. Before I got rid of the truck I was testing 250 and 275 tunes.....and trust me I could cover the highway, hahahaha

I hate the Dodge chassis, though, and if I owned one with a Cummins, I would go buy a rolling chassis and body 1977-1979 Chevy K20 Scottsdale and put it in. Or a 6v71 Detroit.

i bought a used 02 powerstroke and it hauled ass then like a year later it started turning off while i was driving and i went to a mecanics and he found out that it had a superchip on it and it had fucked up the computer but its just this 5 inch chip that u connect directly to the computer can any one tell me what kind it is all it sais on the chip is superchip
that 275 spartan is good for here and there but to really keep the truck there the trans will start too slip , 3 diesels with spartan 275 and all three had same tranny issues .

Sick truck. I currently have the DPF-delete and SCT. I would like to do stacks, but I have a tool box there:( Plus, it would be a pain to put it back to stock if I ever needed to take it to the dealer.
How come there is only one tire with a dually truck? did you replace it with just one fat tire like on some trucks/trailers or did you have to take the outside one off for the dyno? sounds pretty sweet though looks nice
@TwinTurboStroker08 Agreed 100%! That engine has much more potential then you get from the factory. I re-tuned my 2008 F-250 with the 6.4, I'm gettin average 19 highway in addition to a ton of extra power. Still have the DPF, that'll go at some point. A cover for the bed helps with the mileage too.

Well A 6.4 Ford Diesel Is A 6.0 Diesel Ford With A Bigger Bore And Stroke And Twin Turbo But a dodge is better the 6.7 l Each piston is like 6 inches in diamater there huge and the turbo in them produces more boost than ford twins do and plus it has an intercoller best of all it gets the best diesel mileage than any other diesel
Do you have any actual experience with what you talk about? I have worked on and tuned up both said trucks. The 6.7 is a great motor but does not make more boost or get better mileage than a 6.4TT that also has DPF delete and good tune(22mpg hwy). The Cummins used to be the leader in MPG and Performance however the 6.4TT has it beat right now.
PS> you might want to check that bore size too, it's not correct.
12V simplicity is nice but it's not really the same class motor. A 12V won't have anywhere near the refinement of a 6.4TT or any modern diesel for that matter. I had a 81' VW Rabbit that would get 57MPG but I wouldn't compare that to a modern vehicle.
6g's? really?.......it has nothing more than exhaust, $500, intake $190, and a Spartan tuner $1100 retail. A lil short of 6g's I think. Whats even better is that this pull was done with a beta version of the 275 tune, I didn't even try a more dialed in 275 or the monster 310 tune......get your facts straight, nothing worse than a guy talking shit when he was no clue what he is talking about

Yeah just the Spartan Phalnax tuner 275v3, AFE intake and exhaust, the great thing is that the TC locks up early and the power just pours on, kinda like what the D-max's do with the EFI Live

He actually just sold that truck, but yes. It had a stock tranny in it. I have a 250 and I am running a "310" test tune from Spartan currently. I put down 560 hp and 1110 foot lbs with it this past Saturday. I did this with a stock tranny. about 95% or more of the people with Spartan have stock tranny's. Most guys have the 250 and 275 tunes. A select few of us run the test tune, and some guys have even ran the 310 test tune with nitrous. I would say 600 horsepower is the limit
