heck in defending a city, i place my phalax spartans at the gates and breach points, and lose no one, like seriously, NO ONE.

lol noob, you don't understand why the three hundred were able to hold off 10,000 do you? it's not because they were badass soldiers, but tactics via choke point. only the first 5 walls of people are really pushing, so the spartans can rotate the line if they get fatigued and with the chokepoint, only engage a few at a time.
