what was the production time on this piece? approximately? just curious.really good format.

Still in the works on a finished dvd, but it's getting close, just a matter of weeks if I can keep up the current pace. I shot the footage May 19-20, edited on weekends during the summer (I work full-time, which limits my editing time). Many of these graphics could be reused for other tournaments. So to answer your question, post-production is currently about 5-6 months editing if limited to weekends. My goal is to reduce that to about 2 months for future projects.

yeh that soundz about right its amazing how long it takes.but like you said..reusable graphic and more experience with the process will speed it up...i have so much footage that i've barely put a dent in the editing process...the little skits i have done are just music / titles/ transitions..pretty basic..but fairly organized about 90 gigabytes of video/images/ menu graphics bloopers words of wizdom various et cetera.cut down to about 8-10 gig soon...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..

It's all done on a Mac. AfterEffects to do the opening sequence, Photoshop to build the map of the hole (AfterEffects to animate it), then I put it all onto a timeline in FinalCut.

It'll be worth checking out the DVD when I finish it later this summer. The graphics look MUCH cleaner in high resolution. I'll post another update when I've made some more progress on the finished piece.

oh wait! nm , good job dude, message me and let me know what you're using now.i recently picked up Roxio Suite 9, and am still using Ulead video studio some. but i haven't designed any thing like that with the target symbol and hole info. the opening stuff is great.
