  • Oh Christooper, sir, u are my first, big, clever, mysterious doctor with a big heart full of love.. David tennant was awesome, matt smith is funny, or all other doctors, doesnt matter!! You are the one, who made me love the doctor, since the day i heard a music, music of doctor who intro, and thought "humm interesting music maybe i can stay for a couple minutes and check what is this show about".. and after a 1 hour with out breath, i never stoped "checking that show" again, doctor my doctor:)

  • that was beautiful

  • I love your Dr. Who videos. My all time favorite was your video using Tears for Fears Everybody wants to Rule the World. It looks like you had to take that one down though. I'd love to see something new from you, and including Matt. Smith.

  • I bloody love this!

  • Awesome job my friend.

This song fits the Doctor perfectly because he does go Across the Universe all the time.

  • Awesome job my friend.

  • This was so well done. Although I have my favorites, I have loved all of Doctors because they were the Doctor! Thanks for such a great video.

  • aawwww sad ending :( i miss rose

  • Thanks I'm useing this for my prayer hehe

  • Memory's..

  • now there's mat smit :( i miss david

  • the best! ein traum^^

  • *grins* AWESOME!

  • Hey are you gonna pt the regeneration scene from 10 to 11? or are you gonna wait for more scenes to add in the end of Matt Smith?

  • G R E A T video!

I love the song, and Doctor Who!

although the end wuold have needed to be expanded for a few more seconds, to get a better feel for what Rose meant.

    <3

  • Why do you hate The Beatles ? Have you listened to them ? I hope this doesn't sound angry.

  • no it dosnt sound angry. well the beatles are average

  • Good enough for me.

  • Thanks for the DW history lesson!

  • Love the song and video, but where's Peter Cushing?

  • @soundalike Peter Cushing's Doctor is the Doctor Who (1960s) movie "Doctor" and is not part of the official BBC Doctor Who "canon."

  • An enjoyable ride through Who history! Love the easy pacing and all the regeneration clips.

  • This is brilliant! Well done! Very emotional.

  • What episode is that at 4:53?

  • it was a flashback for the episode

  • @MegaCaveboy Army of Ghosts, the penultimate episode of Tennant's first season

  • 1:07 is awesome!

  • this is like the supreme song choice for a doctor who tribute , awesome work

  • When I was little, I called this the "Kangaroo Davis" song.

    LOL!

  • I know yeah but you were lonely enough to leave a comment, hate that....go on reply it'll be hilarious ill get a laugh of it....go on

  • Very nice video but where did the 2000 date come from for McGann? Assuming you want a year range it's more accurate to say 2005, and even so he still plays the Doctor on BBC radio, overlapping both Eccleston and Tennant.

  • The dates for Hartnell thru McGann were from a BBC Documentary shortly before the new series began (narrated by Tennant, ironically enough). So it's actually the BBC that got the dates wrong. That's also why there are no dates for Eccleston or Tennant.

  • is there another season coming out there should be it wAS a great show

  • yes there is and the 11th doctor has already been selected.

  • i like jim strurgess's cover better D:

    good video :33

  • Great vid, just one quibble. Seven was The Doctor until 1996 when he regenerated.

  • Thsi was sooo funny.

  • Vid is awesome...could you remake it with all the new footage and full intros for Eccleston and Tennant?

  • The First 2 doctors, Tom Baker's Doctor, & now the one played by David Tennant are my favs.

    Thanx fer this

  • mad

  • They all have their own little outfits....

  • awesome video! thank you =)

  • Way, super-excellent new speak, my friend! This may have been the coolest and, yes, sexiest thing I have seen in the last 2 weeks...Absolutelly well done! FANTASTIC!

  • beautiful video my friend

  • SWEEEEET! Spot on... I don't call him "The Big Man" for nothing...

nice to hear Fiona Apple too!

  • If you what to to experience what Doctor Who is, this is it. The video captures great moments from the past four decades. Even the song captures the shows overtone. Enjoy.

  • Good video - as for the song... well she did her best :-)

  • The 11th doctor looks so fucking emo. I want Tennant back.

  • Comment removed

  • The 8Th doctor was only in the Doctor Who movie and not from 1996 to 2000

  • He put that because there was a large gap between 1996 until 2000. And as we know Dr who does not just dissapear. So technically he was the doctor until the 9th doctor regenerated.

  • If that were the reason, then it should say 1996-2005.

  • Comment removed

  • Not sure if I commented before, but this video is really damn well done! I have a vigin coworker who's curious about Dr. Who and I'm sending him directly here!

  • Brilliant~!

  • the beatles + doctor who = awsome video

  • Got so say, one of the best compilations I've seen on YouTube...! ! !

The obsessive compulsive in me would change the latter Doctor's sections to match the earlier ones - ie with the Doctor's face, the opening titles, and "from to" dates... I liked how that looked... do it for all of them! :)

  • Awesome!

  • Wow! This is really well done!

  • that was really good. Maybe you could check out my doctor who regenration video. Its called doctor who changes.

  • i love thsi video it so cool

  • Tom Baker was the best doctor in my opinion.

  • I totally agree. Tom Baker is the definitive Doctor in my book.

Though I can see why people love Tennant so much. I grew up with Tom Baker, but a lot of the people who watch the new series only know 10 and 11. Kind of makes me sad that they're missing out...

  • Wow that's amazing, Nice job!

  • oh yeah man;)

  • Pretty good stuff. If anyone's interested, I'm lobbying the BBC to let me be the next Doctor - there'll be a bit of everyone in him, except Colin coz he was shi..

  • The main problem with the new Doctor Who when it returned in 2005, is the fact that the stories are far too short. In the 1960's one story alone could last up to 13 episodes, but now 13 episodes makes a complete series.

They should do a story featuring one or more of the old doctors, Davidson & McCoy would be the best 2 as I never liked Christopher Ecclestone as a Doctor, more like an Action Hero.

And someone send the doctor home to Galifray, everyone knows it still exists except him!

  • oh yeah man;)

  • That scene with the Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) walking past the sword battle and waving to them was funny

  • if ur aussie then ull recognize he looks like frank woodley

  • ... WOW.

Thank you. That was ... wonderful.

  • beautiful video my friend and thanks for uploading it.

  • My Favorites Are The 4th And 8th Doctor :)

David Tennant Isn't So Funny Anymore :(

  • I have to say, this was a rather nice video! Honestly, nothing negative to relay in any way. I really like how you incorporated all of the Doctors and most of their openings. The regenerations were all a very nice touch. Though the 7th Doctor's regeneration has always been rather eerie for me. Great song choice, as well. :] Thumbs up!

  • I feel that each doctor has brung something diffrent to the character. David Tennant is my favorate . colin baker is my 2nd favorte but i realy olny seen snidbit of the later doc's . right now though i don't know about every 1 but im so nerves about doctor whos future . cause they woint be back uill 2010 !!!! wtf

  • With the exception of a 1996 movie, I had to live without new episodes from 1991 (when I discovered Doctor Who) until 2005. So 2 years is an easy wait. Besides, they are doing movies next year- so no problem. Better a break than lose another Doctor- only three until 13 as it is.

  • @melchizedek137 same here

  • A great song for this video, but really Fiona Apple's cover of this song makes me cringe. There are far better versions of this song out there... might I even be so facetious as to suggest the original version?

    (but, seriously, good vid)

  • I like Fiona Apple's version... though it can sound a bit ... I don't know, disengaged, maybe, when I'm not in the mood for it. But, to go with this vid, and all those regenerations? I like this choice. (that said, I only know the original, this one, and Rufus Wainwright's, so....)

Anyhoo, I agree that it is a very good vid.

  • i think David tennant is the best doctor ill have to agree with you ArionHalfBlood

  • David Tennant is just as good as Tom Baker. They're equal in my book. Both are excellent as the Doctor plus good scripts & good villains seriously separate them far apart from the rest of the Doctors (although Sylvester McCoy is a close running 3rd to me as well so yeah).

  • A great video but I wish a better version of Across the Universe had been used. Fiona Apple's version sounds like she's falling asleep at the microphone.

  • I love doctor who b/c it is such a great concept that the 10th doctor contains every doctor before him. and even though i did not watch the older series, when i was this it's kindof sad. i've missed so much that led up to the current doctor.

  • can someone tell me who's singing the song? :)

  • Fiona Apple. It's in the info.

  • Lovely....Lovely. Get a true sense of the entire story! Thankyou.

  • David Tennant is the best! He's hilarious, hot and charming, everything the Doctor is supposed to be, in my opinion. *sigh* He's such a good actor.

  • hell yeah!

  • He is by far the best doctor.

  • Tom Baker was the best doctor in my opinion.

  • what the fuck is she sayin????

somebody pleez post da lyrics to dis...

  • umm it's a cover of across the universe, the famous beatles song by john lennon. you can look the lyrics up on google

  • For the first time ever, NASA will beam a song - The Beatles' "Across the Universe" -- directly into deep space at 7 PM Eastern Time on Monday, Feb. 4. '08

The transmission over NASA's Deep Space Network commemorates the 40th anniversary of the day The Beatles recorded the song, as well as the 50th anniversary of NASA's founding and the group's beginnings.

Ask your local stations to sync up.

  • great vid like the original song better, and bowie's is good too i dont like fiona.

  • LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely marvellous! And a fantastic version of a wonderful song too! I don't think anyone can make another Dr Who videoclip thingy now, you've said it all! There's nothing more to be done! As Borusa said, 'nine out of ten, Doctor!'

  • Wonderfully done! I love it!

  • Nicely done, thank you!

  • Wow, very nicely done. Thank you.

  • Very nicely done - but why did you put 2000 down for McGann's end date?

  • I didn't; I borrowed those clips from a special that aired just prior to the start of Eccleston's tenure- I think it was called Doctor Who: A New Adventure and was narrated by David Tennant. That's also why I don't have similar clips for Eccleston and Tennant- I don't have the technology to make them.

  • Good as good it can be

  • Great Job love how you captured the regenerations when possible!! Fab!!

  • I like it... I like it very much. Well done!

  • I'm a Dr. Who fan, a Fiona Apple fan and a Beatle's fan, needless to say, this hit the spot. Nice job.

  • This is a haunting sounding song. Very great video, and awesome use of the song in it

  • the only, i mean ONLY critique i could give, would be the very end, the video clip where the doctor and rose are on that planet and he turns to her and asks "how long are you going to stay with me?" i would have kept it going with her answer of "forever" and THEN got to the clip of him using the teleporter on her, and ended on the shots of he doctor and rose with their heads pressed against the wall like they are trying to hear each other accross the universe as it were.

  • Neat idea, somewhat like my Every Rose Has Its Thorn Video. I guess the reason that I didn't do something like that for this one is that I intended it as a Doctor-centric video- and that might have given a little too much emphasis to the companion Rose.

  • yeah, i can understand that, i think the end focuses so much on her relationship with the doctor so much that i think it negates that, however, it also emphasizes how much loss he has had to bear...but then again, you still have an amazing video. ^^ i actually associate this song with the doctor quite alot now thanks to your work with the video. ^^

  • the beatles version is better

  • needs better more exiting song

  • amazing! powerful and professional. very good!

  • I do wish you used the original version of the song. But this is good.

  • I thought this is a Beatles song. Anyway The Beatles version is way better! The Beatles and Doctor Who are AWESOME!!!

  • They were in it together once!

  • I know it was with The Fisrt Doctor and his Daughter or someone?

  • I like your video - I liked it alot.

  • Ah Peter Cushing, Bernard Cribbins now that was Doctor Who for ya!

  • I love this video. I am a huge fan of Doctor Who.

  • Comment removed

  • I hate to be picky but it was Richard Hurndall who took the place of the late William Hartnel. Peter Cushing only played the Doctor in two cinema interpretations of the stories Dr Who And The Daleks (1965) and Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD (1966).

  • There is no point in showing clips from every person who played the Doctor. 31 actors have played the Doctor in total, and Peter Cushing was playing the first Doctor in place of the late William Hartnell.

  • Who are the 31 actors who played the doctor and when?

  • Why is it no one ever mentions bloody PETER CUSHING he made two films which included Darleks. If you count Paul Mcgann's one film then you should count Peter's effort!

  • McGann's film was intended as a continuation of the old series. Cushing's films were those of a human scientist who just happened to be called "The Doctor". Cushing is an "alternate take" on Hartnell, rather than a continuation.

  • to be strictly accurate Cushing's character actually was called "Doctor Who"

  • This is very well done

  • very good!

  • I loved it!!!

CALLING ALL DR. WHO MUSIC VIDEO MAKERS:

Can anyone do a Video to the song "I want to know what love is," by Foreigner?

  • Shame there was no on-screen transformation from 8th to 9th... Kinda messed the vid up, but you covered it as well as could be expected.

  • You should see my Time War video: The Battle of Evermore.

  • Star Trek, eat your heart out! :-)

  • Trippy

  • Well done, and PERFECT use of clips. You've really captured the feel of the entire series. One sad point for me was the hopes that someone would have used the Beatle's version. Fiona Apples' is WAY too slow IMHO, especially when applied to the Doctor whose character is supposed to represent exuberance. The Beatle's version is slow enough as it is. And their song is closer in time to the Doctor's heyday. But great effort regardless!

  • an exceptional job, was great and also nostalgic seeing all the doctors regenerating like that keep up the good work

  • I just wanted to say that i love you video you made of all the DoctorsI have an Idea for you take the song End of the Line by Traveling Wilburys, and do a mix with all the doctors George Harrison=9th Doctor Tom Petty=10th Doctor Roy Orbison=7th Doctor Bob Dylan=8th Doctor Jeff Lynne=3rd DoctorHave each of them see the parts, open with and old TARDIS end with NEW TARDIS (see End of the Line video)Just an Idea

  • You know what's awesome? Watching the sfx develope from black and white box monsters to spiffy CGI. I seriously can't think of any other show that... :-)

  • Oh, and watching an William Hartnell morph into a sex symbol, that's fun too XD

  • Wow, my Dad has the same book on juggling as the 7th Doctor! That's kinda trippy. ^^o

  • this is awesome. the song is well matched to doctor who. there's something slightly creepy about seven regenerating into eight. i have never seen the movie all the way through.

    melissa

  • SWEEET! This really gave me a good Whovian FIX! Excellent job!

  • I don't know why but I almost feel like crying after that. Beautiful job. Thank you.

  • What a lovely job! Thanks for posting this. Great song and some nice edits from the years of the Doctor.

  • I could kill a cup of tea after that. It's truly inspiring!

  • Nicely Done!

  • That was excellent!

  • excellent really enjoyed unbeleieveable what u can do these days keep up the cracking work

  • Really wonderful, this is the first time my daughter has been able to reference all the past Doctors. Love it.

  • My immediate reaction on finishing watching this: "OMG, that was gorgeous." Why didn't Doctors 9 and 10 have dates, though? Just curious.

  • Well, that was genuinely classy, very well done and I love that song. Fiona Apple's slower version seemed just right. Might be nice to hear Lennon for a comparison but then, some things are sacred. *wink* Was he a WHO fan?

  • Very nice.

  • right, awkward arguement... this vid is top notch though

  • So its by Fiona Apple but what is the name of the song? Love the vid tho, on my myspace profile!!

  • it was a beatles song. and the years were already thier from the confidental videos they didnt put them on it themself they just added the ending. still cool to watch again

  • i love the video.. love seeing all the versions of the doctor.. i'd just like to point out that Fiona Apple did NOT write this song. she covered it.. in fact the original artists are the Beatles (if i remember correctly)

  • People really get a big head about knowing that John Lennon wrote it. Congrats, you're one of the 18 million that know this.

  • Pefect song for a fantastic video. You're very good at this video making stuff. lol

    Cheerio!

  • Lovely-just sat and watched it about a billion times when my CD player gave out.

  • Really, really good! Why, did you put 1996-2000 for Paul McGann? I know he still does dr who audio cd's even now and I thought a very good dr. But, why the 2000?

  • Absolutely brilliant video, this went straight to my favourites. Thanks for working this magic!

  • Brilliant video, long may the Doctor continue

  • Brilliant! Fantastic!

  • Totally agree! Amazing!

  • I love you. That rocked.

  • Lovely video. Interesting musical choice; really tugs on the ole' heartstrings! Great collection of clips. I bow in deference.

  • "Fantastic!"

  • This is an amazing video. Exactly the kind of clips and music I would have liked to done myself.

  • With Fiona Apple's version of the Beatles classic - Very well done.

  • That is such a lovely video. Well done, I am very impressed. 10/10 :)
