i went to sdadwana this year and it was amazin humpback whales rays

and whale shark in 2 days best dive spott ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its all changed a little over the years. I first dived Sodwana in 1986.

Wow, that probably was awesome, very little tourist or visitors...

During the 80's it was really quiet. During the week days, you could have the whole reef to yourself. There were no permanent buildings, tents and caravans only. The 3 original dive schools were JR Diving, Central diving school and Trident. I see that they are no longer around. Jughead and Archie were these 2 huge potato bass that lived on 2 mile along with Monty the eel. No tar roads. A few 4x4's on the beach. And now the beach is full of 4x4's. Its become quite commercial now.

I LOVE sodwana... Maak 'n jol and Coral divers are just the best! always an amazing time there

I was there for honeymoon in april 2004 It was incredible a dive with 7 raggies !!

this is were i grew up i live on the great barrier reef now but sodwana has way beter people

I was there in Oct. 2006 for some really great diving. We saw SIX whale sharks too! This video brings back great memories, Thanks!
