She only shaved it off cause Kevin threatened to take a strand of her hair to examine it for drugs and prove that she was using. So ,she said "not if I shave it all off" he won't get a piece. She probably had a breakdown cause of everything she went through with Kevin. It was a big deal in a way for me that she shaved it all off cause she had pretty hair extentions before she started being sloppy with her hair when she was parting all night. It looked fried and dirty.
