In Conclusion I will say this... There is a Dark Side to Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu. Sanuces have been tested in the mix of the likes of Bumpy Johnson and Killers more nortorious than him. I would humbly advise those individuals who find so much pleasure in talking and who have never been put to the test, to go take their stuff to the REAL BATTLEFIELD and then come back and talk if they are able to.
I told them that they all had to go to work the next day and I was already at work! I also told them that many of them would probably be in the hospital instead of at work. The senior students asked if all of the students present could speak with the rude student alone and I agreed. In the end, they all apologize and made him give Me a special apology. That student never doubted Me again and he also came to the aid of his fellow dojo mates in the streets. He also became a very good student.
To Continue On... He wouldn't budge and at this point for Me it was either Kill or Be Killed! This student had challenged Me in front of My other students and i didn't know at this point if they all had the same thought of this rude student or not. I then instructed all of the students, seniors and all to grab a weapon and come get Me, all the same time. THEY ALL FROZE! They all wouldn't move. The senior students ask permission to speak and I granted it.
I quickly pushed him back and then went and LOCKED THE DOJO DOOR! I threw the key somewhere and I told him to come on and get Me! I told him to come anyway that he wanted to and that THIS TIME I WAS GOING TO KILL HIM! He wouldn't budge. I told him to come on, because I was going to show him that My stuff was for REAL and IT WORKS!!! He still wouldn't budge. You see this student had been kicked out of another dojo because of his attitude, and I took him in to try to understand and help him.
I had performed the knife defense technique and there were about 15 students present on the floor that night. I had instructed him to come with the attack again and it was a real butcher knife ( I wasn't a Muslim at the time ). He came again and then changed the attack at the last moment, but I was still able ward off the attack and deliver the fatal blow, which I pulled to avoid killing him. When I pulled the blow back and we looked at one another, he then quickly stabbed Me in the shoulder.
The Legendary Dr. Moses Powell said these statements in the Warrior Within Dojo in 2002 and it has been recorded as well. Now if these individuals were to train in Sanuces Ryu they would truly understand why a Sanuces Warriors do not have doubt in the information that is being transmitted to them. They get the opportunity to go against the technique if they feel that what they are being taught do not work. Now in response to the argument of the other martial artist : Dr. Moses Powell told us that " Sanuces Ryu is A STREET TESTED AND PROVEN MARTIAL ART!" He went on to say that, "Sanuces came from the nuks and crannies of streets and alleyways." I witnessed this.
I'm a personal friend of both, Prof. Sayfullaah and Sensei Abdul-Kareem, although I haven't seen them in years. When talking to other Martial Artists I always mention Sanuces as being the most practical style of warding off an attack and then inflicting the most damage thus defusing and debilitating your opponent. Their argument is that it isn't practical because while your submitting your opponent he can still attack with other limbs of the body.
This is awesome! I see that you have a great handle on close quarter combat. This is where the fight happens, up front, close and personal n your face. This is where your technique and skills counts. You are displaying some beautiful techniques and showing valuable knowledge that can be life saving for those that study it and grasp the level of what you are doing. You make me proud and you inspire me!
