A very sincere person you've again prooven yourself to be. I too have come out of a serious depressive state and find it healthier to just be more optimistic and try to spread some good verbal communication in order to try to deter some from crossing the unbearable path of depression. Cheers to you Mr.Marine.
I understand your feeling but dont be down for those things. Not worth it, John... just get out of your nutshell and enjoy the world out there to find out so many interesting things than just a plain compliment from somebody. Be yourself, always nice, sweet and friendly!
In regards to the question at the end - there's a girl which I like, but I only know through a friend and through Facebook. We've only managed to speak a couple of times on there but all the other times she hasn't responded even when I've just said hi. The times that she did, she was fine to talk to.
The right thing to do here would probably be to move on, but my instinct is telling me to stay with it, leave contact for a while and try again later. So that's what I'm doing.
I get this issue when trying to talk to friends on Facebook. Even if I'm just saying hi, there's times when I don't even get a response to that. If you're busy the least someone could do is just say "thanks but I'm busy right now, try again a bit later" or even just apologise when they are free to talk.
I can relate to you on this one, John. I know what it's like, mate. Stay strong.
I've had many friends I've sent messages to with kind words and they haven't said anything in while. However, I don't necessarily feel that they don't care, it just might be that they're lives have gotten much more busy and they can't seem to get some time for themselves to talk to you(which could be what your situation is). I know alot of my friends have either moved, gotten jobs or are serving somewhere around the world (hopefully still alive).
Thanks to all of you... but this isn't about my own issues. This is about in general when you try to show your support for someone, and they don't seem to reply in advance or acknowledge you. It's not about me in this video... it's about the many times when you offer kind remarks to others, but the recipients don't acknowledge you. How do you feel when your kind advice and comments fall on deaf ears? Thanks for watching and commenting! Keep this rock rolling! =)
John, you have to chill out man. The fact that you have 200+ subs says something. Just be yourself and do what you do best. Peace.
PS...Any closer to getting an iPod yet ? I'll be interested to hear your impressions if you do. I have several, I'll offer advice if you need any to make your purchase.
