Lol I remember when this came out - at the time we'd never had like, sampled music for the intro to ANY game and it blew everyone away!! Still pretty cool now.
Ok just brilliant, the buzz i used to get from hearing sampled music like this was massive. Like someone says below xenon 2 had megablast by bomb the bass, wicked times!
@miambechamel I hear you my friend ... I loved my Amiga when i was a kid. Loved it :) I got an Amiga 500+ for Christmas and I remember staring at the box under the Christmas tree night after night. Happy (geeky) times!!

i liked the xenons, gods and the speedball games.magic pockets was crap.and i also hated the chaos engine. my point was,at the time the games were really flashy with funky tunes etc but play them now and unlike many many old 2d games they havent aged well.

I was never keen on the bitmap bros.Apart from the speedball games i always found there games were all mouth and no trousers. With there generic metallic orange graphics often great sound and gameplay that was far too hard and unenjoyable for its own good.
cant understand why u was jelous durzel, the st versions intro is exactly the same mate. I used to like playing this a lot, just to show of the graphics to my uncle who had a c64. Then i got bored of good graphics and re bought a c64.
yo this mix is the best available of that song. i remember the motormouth thing too, people saying left right left right , wierd man some guy musta been sat there with a joystick lol
those were the days....the bitmap bros, amiga.... disk swappin during recess time... î miss those days. But i must be getting old.

Having 'Doin' the do' in this game was the peak of Betty Boo's career. Was all downhill from here.

Love the "Doin' The Do" rendition! I never played the Amiga, but I can tell just by this game that it had one awesome sound chip!

I remember seeing this on a friend's Amiga and being stunned by the audio... Commodore were leaps and bounds ahead of everything else.

Have to agree here, Xenon II, Gods and Speedball were great but MP was really bad. Specifically, it played like crap (cool into and gfx though).
On the other hand, I loved the Chaos Engine. Go the Gentleman!
