  • You recorded this whith a calculator

  • Thats not a rwven. Thats a crow

  • Cool Microsoft PowerPoint presentation you've got there.

  • filmed with a potato

  • i want a tame raven. He will be sitting on my shoulder. I will call him Hugin or maybe Mugin. Get it?

  • OMG HOLD THE DAMN THING STILL!!!

  • Just what I like seeing, a video with distorted audio and a frame rate of 3 per second.

  • They still listen to BSB in India? LOL

  • Eyyy there, mate, a beautiful pet you got there, heheh xD Do you have any idea where they're legal and where not? I mean, I'd love to have one, but I don't know if they're illegal here, where'd you live? in the USA or in europe or..?

  • go to yahoo and type in

are ravens/crows legel in_______ ? thats what i did with hedge hogs...i wish i had one...love the vid btw!!

  • Yeah, I already did that, but after that comment lol, thanks anyway!

  • backstreet boys :D

  • Good tunes. I miss those boy bands.

  • is it ileagal to have a taven or a crow in the U.K coz i havent got loads to spend on such a beautiful pet

  • no its legal if you get it from a breeder but its illegal to take them out of the wild (but lots of people do it, no one cares)

  • What a beautiful, healthy-looking bird! She obviously really trusts you. However, she is not a raven. She's a crow. They're closely related, but ravens are MUCH bigger and have fluffy spiky feathers on their throats and a different shaped tail. Anyway, good luck with her, and congrats on winning her trust and affection!

  • i'm pretty sure thats a raven. i can always tell by their beaks: a ravens beek is slightly hooky when a crows is long and fairly short.

  • long and fairly short? ROFL!

  • yh...i meant to say long and fairly narrow :\

  • you can't really see how big it is in the video, but it looks like it's head is almost as big as his hand, that'd be about right for a raven, there are also different species of ravens, not all have spiky feathers on their throats, and there are many different tail shapes among different types ravens.

  • also the person that uploaded this video clearly reffered to the pet raven as a "HE", idk how you came to the conclusion that it was a girl

  • I just found a raven with a broken wing. I found a bird with a broken wing before and took it to vet and they said there was nothing they could do but let it set so I just got a big cage. But, any tips? This one is wild, mind you

  • This is probably stuff you already know. If the wing looks like it will heal naturally, stress is your biggest problem. Stress may slow the healing process. Make sure the bird has somewhere to hide from people in its cage, or cover the entire cage. Provide a container of water and some uncooked meat (minced meat would work well). Try not to disturb the bird too much. Its lucky it bumped into you (unless you were driving a car at the time)

  • I hope you made a splint for it and bandaged it up good. If it doesn't set right he will never fly right. So you might have yourself a pet for life. Corvus Corax the common domestic Raven is illegal by state and federal law in the U.S. so becareful or get yourself a permit. He/she will live up to 50-60 years. I have myself a Hybrid African Raven. If you need any help just ask. ~Void~

  • Just curious, why is it illegal? I mean, what's the logic behind the law? Are they considered dangerous wild animals or something?

  • There is no good logic behind the law. It was passed as one of those reactionary laws (OMG we must DO SOMETHING!) right after the extinction of the passenger pigeon. Originally it was only supposed to cover certain migratory birds, but over time it was expanded gradually until now it covers essentially every native bird species in the US, and prohibits you from even picking up a molted feather from a native bird. Once government gets control over something, they never let go.

  • Its especially stupid that is legal to kill a crow in the US, but you can't take in an injured one and keep it as a pet, even if it can't return to the wild. x.x

  • Yes, Fleefles, that is one of the stupidest parts of the law. Crow haters go out and shoot hundreds of them and stack them up to dance around and take pictures, mighty hunters they think they are, then they brag to the crow lovers how they can indulge their hatred but we can't indulge our love without breaking the law. This is why many crow lovers take in injured or orphaned crows illegally, basically thumbing their noses at the law.

  • @ccoraxfan dude we're talking about ravens were did crows come from. your a racist. lol

  • @flubberflubby

Perhaps you need to read my comments in context to understand why I was talking about crows. Use the "View all comments" link.

  • lol seeing dis make me want a raven there cool =] good vid 5/5 where did u get him/her u cant get them in da shops i dont think

  • I think you tame them from the wild.

  • Look up Corvid Ranch. They breed african crows and ravens. Kinda expensive, but healthier and more legal. They are guaranteed, so no parasites like wild ones. I'd get one, but I'm poor, :(

  • nope .. hes livin in a tree next to my place .. he was real friendly rite from the first time i wanted to feed him ... i dont cage him at all , but he always comes back everyday and hangs around

  • @superjake132 in da woods -.-
