NEC's rugged laptop takes some hits

A rugged laptop is great, but the military already has stuff like that, but perhaps not with all those features.

What I'm looking for is a laptop whose circuitry is resistant to continuous use, i.e. that the insides are, in and of themselves, strong enough to withstand the rigors of their own activity significantly beyond that of conventional units. Furthermore, self-modular cards would be a welcome bonus.

your somthing arn't you,these laptops are being built for troops in the army, you know were they have to work in the rain, and when important information is on a hardrive it needs to be kept safe, especialy if the computer is in a dangerous envirmont, like oh say THE MILLITARY were stuff gets dropped and thrown around all the time, and fyi i mountain isn't i rock, or 2 rocks, or 200 rocks, a mountain is a land mass that projects well above its surroundings; higher than a hill.

Police use laptops like these in most countries, and require rugged computers that can take a high shock threshold. A drafting team on a construction site would love an item they can drop, get wet or whatever, and still keep mobility and performance, ie: dualcore.
