Just searched for the line RDJ is singing and found out that it's "Fischerweise" by Franz Schubert: "Er singt zu seinem Werke aus voller frischer Brust". So Robert just struggled with the word "Werke" since it sounded like "Wecker" ;)

I have an autographed pic from when he did the Singing Dectective in Santa Monica. I also saw RDJ sing "With or Without YOu" at the HOuse of Blues in Hollywood in 2001. That was awesome! I had front row for that.
