  • OK CHEERS

  • Just a quick question mate.

I am a young angler and I just fish the pole and feeder for all species but I have been wondering about the different aspects to Carp fishing.

How and is it hard to land a Carp without it going all over your other lines and messing them up and taking them out of the spot you casted them in?

    Thanks

  • Basically you need to be careful that your baits are not too close, my lines are always very slack so there mostly on the bottom and out of the way. Backleads help too, keeping the line out of the way.

When you get a run you push the other rod tips down into the water.

Somtimes it goes wrong, that's life but mostly its ok.

If i get a run i have no qualms about pulling the other lines out of the way.

  • Oh I see. Thanks for the info and thanks for the speedy reply :-).

Keep up the good work as I love watching your blog entrys.

  • A tuffty is a small compact duck with clear white sides...they love to dive for your bait upto 20+ ft

  • It happens to the best of em mate. Onwards and upwards. Keep at it!

  • Great blog mate, you really captured that terrible feeling when you drop a fish!

  • Gutted for you mate it's never good losing a fish (unless it's a bream), especially when you've put in a lot of effort for it. Keep it up tho'.
