Sewing it together is one bad idea. Keeping it is another. They should have cut it up and burned it to ashes. That would prevent it from coming alive again

I have to say, regardless of all the holes in the plot and story, this is one of the better horror movies from a story and acting point of view...plus the effects etc...It deserves to be seen as one of the better ones by far....especially the setting...creepy as and it's nice to see monsters working in the daytime as well as at night...:-)

Plus the first movie had the added ability to lure us into thinking the creeper was human at first, a serial killer or something...a shockingly precise recipe to scare the shit out of us as we slowly realize he isnt... @hypnocilicdreams Unfortunately his driving wasn't the key to keeping hidden....despite all the holes it still stands as a great film and looks quite realistic. A lot of films set a good premise but when the creature appears it's over the top or plain cartoony (nightmare of elm street). This one really was the creeps.

1) cut off the wings and the back-of-the-head part (those are th only bits that are really the creeper)
2) chop then up
3) place the pieces into thick, metal boxes
4) travel the world, carefully hiding each piece at least 100 miles from each other and over 10 feet underground
..then again, you could just stitch it back together and use it as a cheap tourist attraction and hope you can stall it for 23 days. that seems like just as good a solution

I admire Victor Salva for not using the cliche of fire kills evil. I figured the only way to "kill" it. Is to set it on fire and keep on burning it until it's nothing but ashes. Napalm should do the trick. Or even thermite. It burns at ridiculous temperatures.

I noticed something kind of odd. The monster, Creeper or whatever you want to call him, never ate a girl in either movie. I thought at first that this was because it took on a males appearance for the most part and thus would want male parts, however they show a dead female in his cave of bodies at the beginning of the first movie... just wondering if my initial assertion was correct and perhaps she was just a casualty oooorrrr if he just really wanted to kill guys in these two films.

cut it in 8 parts: head, body, leggs, arms, wings and put them in 8 different metal boxes and nail + bind them in them. When he wakes up, pour acid all over each parts.

i hate that! The car wreck was on fire behind him, so why didn't they dragged his old black leather ass over there, and threw it into the flames!?!? And when it's become ash, spread it all over America, the Ocean, rivers, etc! But nooo, that's to easy, rather wait for 23 years straight on the farm for when it wakes up! I admire Victor Salva for not using the cliche of fire kills evil. I figured the only way to "kill" it. Is to set it on fire and keep on burning it until it's nothing but ashes. Napalm should do the trick. Or even thermite. It burns at ridiculous temperatures.
Why would you sow it's limbs and wings back on? Fucking burn them too.
It's only a movie. I've enjoyed them both. I'm looking forward to the third one.
Still those things bug me about this film.

I noticed something kind of odd. The monster, Creeper or whatever you want to call him, never ate a girl in either movie. I thought at first that this was because it took on a males appearance for the most part and thus would want male parts, however they show a dead female in his cave of bodies at the beginning of the first movie... just wondering if my initial assertion was correct and perhaps she was just a casualty oooorrrr if he just really wanted to kill guys in these two films.
